It's all a scam. You're there with your pride but you don't see nearly enough of the extreme wealth generated over all those decades of being king of the world. Think of all the pointless wars in the last 3 decades, that money could've gone to good things for the American people. Yet so many will cheer, it's baffling to me, daylight robbery. Afghani war, 300 million $ per day for 20 years.

Mindblowing stuff that after all that you'll still have people supporting all of it. Doesn't go in my tiny EU brain.

What is there to do on Instagram? You scroll for a while, see ads, see tons of pictures/shorts/whatever from people you don't follow... I don't get it really.

Like are they leaving comments and having conversations? What do they know that I don't? Italians are quite vain (?) though, maybe preparing all day for that perfect picture?

I do understand that Instagram is much more practical and cool for sharing pics and like a story. But how people are spending so much time on that app is beyond me.
If I'm really bored, I might look at half naked girls and asses in the recommended section but even that doesn't remain very engaging for long.

We cannot understand the complexity of cheering for the assholes that rob them of all their money without providing free or decent education, health care or many other basic human needs; and in turn plundering all around the world with their hard earned money.

Jeez i wonder why the entire world hates the US gov so much. Something must be wrong with them. They're prolly all just brainwashed 😂
 
I never claimed we started the french revolution...

I was saying that our successful revolt was part of the democratic lineage that led to much of modern democracy across europe. Not that we started it

I am in the U.K and live at quite a hieght, i also only have one exit/entrence, so if somebody comes through my door i have no option of escape so will defend myself the best i can. I do have a crossbow and could grab my camping machete if required.

And just hope the judge and jury understand.

French revolution started because Louis was an absolute tyrant who completely plundered his people after the state went bancrott supporting your revolution. And no you did not invent the concept of revolution. That existed long before.
We had a Caesar til WW1 😱

Ask an American how their freedom is better than ours, they'll say "i can shoot people if they look threatening to me" 😂

I just thought of it, it's patriotism. Understandable, since the concept is completely alien to me as a Belgian. I can respect it though. Can't believe I missed that.

Sometimes you do gotta relax more Flower. I've had to learn it myself because of various reasons. Think of it as a party, main priority is having a nice time yourself by doing the things you want without being too imposing or disruptive. There's no one perfect solution so you have to recalibrate once in a while

Never said we invented it either. I said it was a lineage. Not that we started the lineage. I'm fully aware of why the French revolted... But the scenario in America had many similarities. People were sick of the monarchy here too. We weren't bankrupted by funding other people, but the British taxation was somewhat of an analogous economic burden

But I think you just want to shit on Americans at this point so I'm tapping out

Ive met quite a bunch of Americans who actually thought the rest of the world wasn't free, and it's only an American thing 😅 something is wrong in the state of Denmark

People often make the assumption im unrelaxed. Im stunned it comes across without the pacing up and down and my ticks. Im actually very relaxed.

Well yeah all revolutions share similarities, that's why we use the same word for it.

You said "led to revolutions in Europe", which is just untrue. Star death leads to star birth. Uranus and Neptune changing position led to our solar system being stable.

Im just not a fan of untruthful information. There's plenty of very positive things about the US.

yeah but if I'm a criminal with an illegal gun breaking into your house and you have a butcher knife or even a crossbow you're probably gonna be fucked. Not to mention the vast majority of folks who wouldn't have jack shit.

I'd rather he go run off with my TV than me having to shoot him. Really. He probably would run anyway if I saw him, this is what the vast vast majority of them would and should do anyway. They can break into houses all the time.

Do you know how rare illegal guns are in England?

I don't know what fucking movies you're watching but break ins usually happen at 8am when nobody's home. 90%+.

Also ppl dont just run around with illegal guns here, they're super rare. Burglar is happy they have a crowbar

For most Euros these will always be quite absurd scenarios in the probability vicinity of getting struck by 3 lightnings. Seeing the burglar, AND them having a gun?!
