home-made jumbalaya! I spent close to $20 and easily 3hrs on this... wtf? It seemed so simple when i was at the store... a couple hrs later, and 3 extra trips to the store, i had a ridiculous pot that my home&neighbors loved. I'm not gonna imgur/picture-whore it cuz it will look like regular stew, but it was:
0.5lbs jumbo key west shrimp (fuckin hate de-shelling/de-pooping those mf'ers

)
1lbs chicken (boneless/skinless)
1lbs shredded tenderloin
2 lrg onions
2lrg cheesesteak tomatoes
3 jalapeno peppers
~2tbsp fresh minced garlic
1.5sticks unsalted butter
1/4lbs (super fresh / 'not from a store') crawfish)
~3cups cooked white rice
I scorched the jalepenos&onions til they were like ~50% blackened (in coconut oil), then added the rest of the ingredients (which were mostly cooked separately - i know i know, you're supposed to toss it all together but f that i have my ways lol)
added salt and black pepper and stewed for maybe 45min, it's ridiculous. Not too spicey or fishey, it's delicious and it's actually crazy-balanced in a nutrition-sense

I have maybe 6lbs of it haha (a full large sauce pan that's ~8" tall) and am gonna freeze half. Cannot say it was worth the time or $ but am still gonna be happy eating this for a week
