OK i have a riend that is new to the world of Iv drug use and has had some trouble for the 2 months he has been using this way. his veins are small and deep and have he has had a few misses. he has a knot that is hard on his vein where the crease of his elbow is. he has used this vein pretty often cause it is the easiest on my friend can hit He also reused his 100 cc needles several time and said it kinda was hard to pull out and one time .does anyone know what is wrong?

I would assume it is scar tissue, but a picture would help because your description also fits a blood clot.

well once he said when he cleaned his needle after injecting something that looked like rust and blood came out no camera at momentsorry should he worry what could happen if it is a blood cloat

Okay, so we know it is you. Let's just get over that.
Anyways, you shouldn't be reusing needles at all, let alone to the point where you think there is rust flaking off.
Please go get a tetanus shot and I would recommend seeing a general practitioner for the "knot" in your arm.
Please take time to learn proper IV procedure if you plan on continuing, there is the IV megathread in "Other Drugs"

I agree 100% with muvolution. I don't know where you are but most places you can get new works from exchanges so their's no excuse to reuse. I've been injecting for getting on for 40 years now and the only way I can do this without any problems is to NEVER use the same works twice. Once you have used a needle, it becomes blunt. If I try and reuse a needle it just bends because it will not penetrate tough scarred tissue. Whereas a new needle is like a hot knife cutting butter.
Golden rule 'Never reuse your works'.

This. Here is the IV megathread with information on how to inject and complications, its loaded with info.

We can only speculate what happened to "your friend" (please use proper pronouns here, we know its you), so I'm going to close this. Refer to the link provided above for more information.
