Hey there, kids...

I'm asking everyone what stands out excessively in your consciousness as the most preeminent highs you've had??

For me: the first time I ever did ecstasy of course, and the first time I ever did mushrooms. I'm attempting to recall a time that wasn't an actual first, but those two instantaneously come forth as the utmost authoritative recollections. Both blew my mind and I've never obtained anything quite like them since. Good times...if only I could go back for just but a fleeting minute to sample the euphoria. I wonder if, with time, we embellish those thoughts or if they were truly as spectacular as we make them out to be many years later?

What say YOU?

Moving to DC from homeless. There's probably a thread about this there so they will just merge it into that.

For me it was the first time I used LSD which was a high dose and a ++++ experience, and the first time I used mushrooms which 2.0g gave me a ++++ experience.

Alcohol was also a memorable experience for me since. I was 14 and experiencing live music for the first time seeing the band phish in the fall of 97, and I drank two beers there and had lots of fun, and I've loved live music ever since. YMMV.

Hey skodeo, I like your profile pic. I'm a big fan of Calvin and Hobbes. And to answer your question; GHB, hands down. It was amazing.

Peace :)

Thanks, buddy. I had the entire Calvin and Hobbes collection since I was in middle school. My all time fav. And you know what? I've never tried GHB...one thing I've never had the chance to partake in. Perhaps one day, eh?

We've got a hallucinogenic guy here ;) I only tried LSD one time and I took it with shrooms...one hell of a time! I've done LSA a number of times, however. Funny how I've had the best of times and worst of times when it comes to those altered states. Ya, I had a strong feeling my question has been asked a handful of times already, but I was curious what people had to share at the moment since I was just reminiscing...

GHB is something I've done only a few times, but it's really really good. Like alcohol but you don't get too loose and say silly shit, it keeps you up all night, and makes the whole world shine.

Disclaimer
: If you are going to try GHB, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BABYSITTER. someone to look out for you in case you pass out and/or begin vomiting. I can't stress that enough. While fun, GHB has a very steep dose-response curve, so treat it with due care and respect. Don't just go leaping in. It's potentially very dangerous.

Peace :)

Basically any of the many times i have had DMT. No word can really explain. Once you have been dissolved into the white light and become one with the universe there is no real way to explain it to those that have not experienced this..there are those among us who understand what i am talking about.

this ^
I never really got used to forgetting who or what I am lol.

first time taking shrooms was pretty great (accidentally took a rather large dose lol) and also a lot of the times taking nitrous oxide on psychedelics are very strange. one time the n2o took me back to that first mushroom trip and another time it took me back to that nang that took me back to the mushroom trip.
mixing LSD with speed was pretty damn memorable too lol and so were deliriants.

The K-hole embodies everything I thought psychedelics to be when I was younger. Yes DMT can be similar but the K-Hole is light to come on you get to sit there for 10 mins (insufflated) so i have a routine. I do a large amount of K 0.3-0.5g in 3 lines all in a minute. I call this "setting the clock" as it gives 5-10 minutes before things get weird and 15 minutes until i am unable to remember i exist. So that whole routine allows me to get comfortable, go to the bathroom clean off the bed set the music and get into a resting position.

The K-hole comes on fast but slowly enough to not be debilitating or scary, it comes with anesthetic comfort that leaves you not scared and its not overly fast so you can focus. Its nice and when you get there is beautiful colorful and a landscape painted by the music your listening to. I have excepted my own death having no recollection of how i entered this space, an understanding that the word "work" and "time" have some meaning but i cant grasp in my head how they mean anything to me, my past or why i am here, in those moments i think "i must be dead, i must have died i cant remember who i am my past but i have fractured memories of names and things important to me... this place is nice i can drift here forever i love it!"

This is becoming a weekly thing for me as long as it doesnt conflict with my life im ok with that :)

It has to be the time I did some fairly inactive (old) LSD and Ketamine in my friends back garden on a sunny summers day. I remember it being very hot. Due to being pale, there were a few nerves of burning and having to tell my mum that I couldn't come home because I was high. 2 hours after having the acid, we realised it wasn't going to work and we decided to sit outside and have line after line of Ketamine with Hendrix, Yes and Jefferson Airplane blasting out of the window. My trips that day were much more pronounced (possibly due to the acid?) and so my trips became very powerful. Having been anxious about my mum and my fixation with nature at the time, the ketamine put the two together equaling mother nature. After that, my brain was never the same and reality has never been more confusing!

Trying to drive on E as the road kept getting WAY smaller. First time I drank a quart of OE and was buzzing hard. First time I smoked pot. Really first time I tried most drugs were fucking amazing. It usually goes down hill after that haha.

I totally agree...I mean, I've had some memorable times after initially trying a drug, but I think due to the fact that it's your first time and so amazing that it stays burned forever into your memory bank. Always chasing that first high...rarely obtaining.

Now that I think about it there's a lot of stuff mentioned here that I haven't done. GHB, LSD (by itself), Ketamine, DMT...

This

Also pretty much everytime i've taken LSD or mushrooms (set&setting is extremely important).
- I'll never forget my first time with mdma, i learned the definition of euphoria.
- I've also had a bunch of memorable experiences while high on weed, alcohol or opiates. Getting drunk and smoking weed with my friends as a teenager was an excellent period of my life.

Sniffing pills and dope, doing mini shots of oramorph with my buddy wile we smoke spliffs, drink overpriced beer, and play SNES/Genesis

Tripping with my buddies in nature preserves, smoking weed on the top of trains in the summer

Drinking DXM in school

Getting stupid drunk and high with my buddies while we have all-day BBQs

Huh, my most memorable experiences are social ones. Wouldn't have thought so initially

I am surprised DMT didn't make your list seeing you are experienced with it. I guess its different for everyone but for me it made all previous chemical experience look like training wheels for the real thing..

DMT is so far ahead of the curve, and it had been mentioned by you and others. I don't want to pile on about how much I adore DMT, I've done it enough :D. So yeah, to clarify, DMT took the cake for me too.

There have been a few wonderful drunken times...although I'm not much of a drinker these days. I did a lot of stupid shit and end up in car wrecks/the ER multiple times.

I've always been scared to try DMT...I had my days with hallucinogens, but those have long since passed now. Maybe for a special occasion...
