So, as the thread title says, I'd like some feel-good films for when you're feeling blue and just want something to cheer you up! Beautiful, but slightly sad is acceptable I suppose too... Anything that makes you feel better tbh... I'll get us started..:

  • Zootopia
  • Phenomenon
  • What Dreams May Come
  • Isle of Dogs
  • Matilda
  • Pleasantville
  • Tropic Thunder

I really liked that one, and in my mind it is closely tied with Powder (1995). I may need to watch both again before long. Though, Powder may leave you more sad than feel-good.

An absolute must for a list of 'feel good' movies.

I love that film, Powder is great, but yeah, also kinda sad, but a beautiful sad.

Thought a little bit more, trying to stay away from comedy and more on the uplifting....but fell somewhere in between thinking about the John Hughes films:

16 Candles << Everyone has a place
The Breakfast Club << Be who you are
Ferris Bueller's Day Off << Enjoy life

And I put one of my favorites in that category, though JH didn't do it:

Say Anything << Be who you are

Adding some more:
  • Pay It Forward
  • About A Boy
  • Scent Of A Woman
  • Amelie
  • The Shawshank Redemption
  • Ratatouille
  • As Good As It Gets
  • Jerry Maguire
  • Cinderella Man
Lets keep this thread alive! 🤗

I can't remember the movie, but I do remember that the Time Traveler's Wife made me bawl

Older, but 'Lean on Me' with Morgan Freeman as a principal could fall in this category. Give a shit, make a difference in the lives of others, be loved and appreciated for it.

Emperor of the North Pole, a great Lee Marvin film about about human dignity and respect for others as individuals as seen trough the lives of Hobos in the Great Depression Era.

These never fail to put me in a good mood:

White Chicks
Scary Movie (1-3)
Smiley Face
The House Bunny
Mean Girls
Easy A
Sleepaway Camp 2 and 3
Serial Mom
Legally Blonde
Ferris Buellers Day Off
Friday
Not Another Teen Movie
IT (2017)
May
John Dies at the End (book way better, though)
(not a movie but - ) RuPaul's Drag Race
A Haunted House
The Stanford Prison Experiment (maybe not for most people but I just find it damn sexy)
Spun
Funny Games (2007)
Pretty much anything with Anna Faris..
(not a movie but - ) The Sarah Silverman Program
(not a movie but - ) Family Guy

Can think of one right off hand but will be back in this sub as just kinda found it and watch shit all day every day. So much so that it all kinda runs together...lol
