Me want a burger Knock. A Chef's selection Quorn burger Knock. I don't want Kratom or yoghurt (just yet) Knock. I will skip straight to the burger Knock. Knock. Knock. Burger. Knock.

Knock.

<3

Get the butter out. Put the grill on. Put the burger under the grill. Get the roll out. Split it. Once the butter is soft enough (I'm cheating and using anchor spreadable) butter the roll. Add coleslaw to roll. Add salad to coleslaw. Flip the burger. Add mustard to roll. Add cheese to burger. Melt cheese and add burger to roll. Add roll to mouth. It's easy! <3

Now eating three huge strawberries and a german biscuit.

Claims to have "More beef than Mama". Which is slightly disturbing. But for £1.44 it ain't bad. "The Hot Fella" is much better though.

just popped a pork casserole into the oven for tonights dinner, gather bits n pieces from the fridge and press.

pork steak chopped into cubes, tin of cannelloni beans, jar of passata, veg stock, soy sauce, mustard, onions, carrots, celery, garlic, paprika, cinnamon, salt n pepper.

going to serve it with rice and maybe a glass of wine.

Sounds pretty tasty bogman. Don't understand your use of the word "maybe" though. If you've made that much effort with the food, a glass of wine is the least reward you can expect.

work tomorrow and up at 5.30, a glass or a btl of beer might lead to a 2nd then 3rd which is no fun when alarm clock goes off.

if somebody could bottle willpower i would have a bottle or two.

Pork 'n' beans is lush. I generally opt for a spicier version than yours, Bogman, but am sure I'd nom that too.

Your post also reminded me I needed to turn off the oven and let the chicken marinate in sauce for tomorrow's curry. Which was very fortunate cos had completely forgotten I'd put it in in the first place 8o

i like spicey to, make a nice goan pork and potatoe curry. the young lad eats what we eat now so not to spicey for him.

glad i was of help for your curry, i got a pizza for tomorrow.

I used to make Goan chicken curry every weekend when I lived at home. Proper one too. These days it's mostly just a mix of bought in pastes and whatever else is to hand when I cook curry stuffs. Still, tastes decent enough.

And I'm sure I'll thank you doubly over tomorrow when I'm eating nice, moisty chicken curry rather than having to chuck out a coupla smoking cinders when they set off the smoke alarm later :D

Pre-packaged.. pre-sliced.. from Tesco... on white bread..

I think you may have just insulted the entire Italian nation :D

Just muched curry. Blindingly hot (yet still very flavoursome) curry. No particular type of curry but involved chicken tikka masala marinated breast thingies from Co-Op (cooked last night, left to marinate til this afternoon) with chick peas, spuds, tomato, coconut cream and various additional spices. Hotter than hell due to a coupla Scotch Bonnets which took me by surprise. Blimey these particular two were potent beasts 8o

To hot for me Shambles. I am a wimp when it comes to spicy food. You cook your chicken before marinading it? I would get garam masala spices mix it with yogurt and cover chicken pieces with it overnight in the fridge. Then roast in hot tandore. Not really I meant my normal boring oven. Be-ute-ifal.

Came in to see if Shambles is having his curry. He is! <3

Tesco's Finest Mushroom Risotto, is well weapon.

HR, checking Shambles is getting a decent meal. Good work Knock.

Right I'm nicking the well weapon thing. Everything will be well weapon from now on. Street. Ya herd?

Chicken was el cheapo (reduced from el mid priced-o) Co-Op chicken tikka masala breasts. They come marinated in lime juice and fresh coriander then you're supposed to part-cook 'em and add the sauce for the last ten minutes. I part-cooked 'em then added sauce and extra water and left in oven til cold last night then used 'em in and amongst other curry stuffs to great effect. Properly surprised at how much you could still taste the zesty/coriandery chicken even though it'd been simmered down for a good three hours in the wider curry. Falling apart tender. Also invested in a coriander plant earlier - most of which got chopped and added at the last minute. Fukkin lushy so it was. And got enough for the next two days easily <3

As for tandoori and/or tikka type chicken, also used to do the overnight marinade in yoghurt and spice mix stuff but tonight's dins was basically just cos Co-Op had a load of their tikka chikka reduced to £2 for a pack of two breasts. Got another pack in the freezer too. Yum <3
