what are some proven thyroid hormone supplements that are non prescription?

no Iodized means that iodine has been added to the salt. Most sea salt is devoid of iodine, but heavy on specific trace minerals from its specific location. Hence the reason for varying flavors in different sea salts. In the earl half of the 20th century Iodine was added to table salt to correct the defects, from a diet devoid of iodine.

It is a laundry list of issues steaming from a lack of iodine, including thyroid problems. Good call on the selenium though be careful with it too much and you can develop a toxicity with it that mimics radiation sickness( hair loss, nausea, skin lesions ect ect ) you would have to eat a shit load of it but it can become a systemic issue if you are taking supplements and eating foods rich in it. this goes for a lot of vitamins and minerals, why people need to pay attention to what, how much and what type of a given vitamin and mineral is in any given supplement. It is easy to buy shitty vitamins and pay for expensive piss, just as it is easy to over due it and cause a whole shit load of peripheral organ damage with too much of any number of supplements. Rule number one know what and how much you are taking- that's basic harm reduction.

Your thyroid also needs selenium. Not a lot; a brazil nut a day is enough. Also try to avoid mercury as much as possible.

Selenium and thyroid function isn't in any of my medical or pharmacology literature, as most research papers on the subject seem fairly recent:

Three different selenium-dependent iodothyronine deiodinases (types I, II, and III) can both activate and inactivate thyroid hormones, making selenium an essential micronutrient for normal development, growth, and metabolism. Furthermore, selenium is found as selenocysteine in the catalytic center of enzymes protecting the thyroid from free radicals damage. In this way, selenium deficiency can exacerbate the effects of iodine deficiency and the same is true for vitamin A or iron deficiency.

Food - Micrograms (mcg) per serving - Percent DV* (Daily Value)
Brazil nuts, 1 ounce (6–8 nuts) 544mcg 777%
Tuna, yellowfin, cooked, dry heat, 3 ounces 92mcg 131%
Halibut, cooked, dry heat, 3 ounces 47mcg 67%
Sardines, canned in oil, drained solids with bone, 3 ounces 45mcg 64%
Ham, roasted, 3 ounces 42mcg 60%
Shrimp, canned, 3 ounces 40mcg 57%
Macaroni, enriched, cooked, 1 cup 37mcg 53%

Yeah the research on selenium is rather new but I was calling it a good catch as it has other benefits aside from thyroid function:

~Although it is toxic in large doses, selenium is an essential micronutrient for animals. In plants, it occurs as a bystander mineral, sometimes in toxic proportions in forage (some plants may accumulate selenium as a defense against being eaten by animals, but other plants such as locoweed require selenium, and their growth indicates the presence of selenium in soil).[3] See more on plant nutrition below.

Selenium is a component of the unusual amino acids selenocysteine and selenomethionine. In humans, selenium is a trace element nutrient that functions as cofactor for reduction of antioxidant enzymes, such as glutathione peroxidases[66] and certain forms of thioredoxin reductase found in animals and some plants (this enzyme occurs in all living organisms, but not all forms of it in plants require selenium).

The glutathione peroxidase family of enzymes (GSH-Px) catalyze certain reactions that remove reactive oxygen species such as hydrogen peroxide and organic hydroperoxides:

2 GSH + H2O2----GSH-Px → GSSG + 2 H2O

Selenium also plays a role in the functioning of the thyroid gland and in every cell that uses thyroid hormone, by participating as a cofactor for the three of the four known types of thyroid hormone deiodinases, which activate and then deactivate various thyroid hormones and their metabolites: the iodothyronine deiodinases are the subfamily of deiodinase enzymes that use selenium as the otherwise rare amino acid selenocysteine. (Only the deiodinase iodotyrosine deiodinase, which works on the last break-down products of thyroid hormone, does not use selenium).[67]

Selenium may inhibit Hashimoto's disease, in which the body's own thyroid cells are attacked as alien. A reduction of 21% on TPO antibodies was reported with the dietary intake of 0.2 mg of selenium.[68]

Increased dietary selenium intakes reduce the effects of mercury toxicity[69] and it is now recognized that the molecular mechanism of mercury toxicity involves irreversible inhibition of selenoenzymes that are required to prevent and reverse oxidative damage in brain and endocrine tissues.[70][71]

@ GF I gotta say brother you are really good in the research side of medicine mate. You are def an academic much respect for that man.

curious, instead of using real insulin which can be dangerous as some have said, can I use the IGF-1 like deer velvet antler sub lingual spray?

Yes but if you want to waste your money and pay for expensive piss I can think of better ways. Thing is mate if you are asking that question you are not ready for steroids, let alone insulin.

I consider my self a fairly experienced user of PEDs and AAS in general, almost 10 years, with the last 4 being on blast and cruise. And frankly I would not touch insulin with a 10 foot pole, not because I don’t understand it but because I have no business using it. I am not a pro bodybuilder nor do I aspire to be one. A healthy respect is needed for all of these compounds and most importantly Insulin, wrong dose, miss judge a dose and you could be in some serious trouble. Not trying to hammer you in particular man, but just using this time to make a point about a powerful compound that needs more respect. Hell all of these compounds need more respect, they are powerful tools that none of us should take lightly. Ok well yeah that’s the end of a rant. >-<

I just bought some brazil nuts and a nutcracker. Is there a trick to cracking this nut the right way? Do I crack it at the edges? I simply crack it and it breaks in several pieces. The pros seem to be able to crack this nut the right way in its form and not in pieces.

Buy them without the fucking the shell, ongos.

How you haven't managed to choke to death on an M&M, get hit by a car, or leave the stove on overnight for the last time mystifies me.
