Ok, as a nuke says we have some vendors who did introduce phenazepam to the market because he had some kind of understanding of what consequences may have selling trizolobenzodiazepines(for example). Phenazepam is really not fun drug - it can only be used for the purposes it was done - for tranquilising.
I dont buy this argument.
The whole idea that phenazepam is the only benzo being offered because its long duration make it "not abusable", doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
The fact is that lots of people are buying this stuff and are using it, and its extremely high potency and long duration make it even MORE of a liability then other benzos in my estimation.
Granted, if it is not terribly recreational then there might be a lower incidence of addiction/dependence to this stuff, but I think the real danger is with people being too heavy handed with their dosing and experiencing days of "blackout", along with all the trouble that usually comes along with this length and degree of benzo-related amnesia.
With this in mind, phenazepam is hardly a benign drug that vendors can sell without the concern of negative consequences arising. They are selling bulk powder of an extremely amnesic, long lasting drug that is active at the mg level. I just dont see how anyone can argue that this drug is less liable to cause problems then others. Sure, since it may not be as "fun" as other benzos, there might be a lower incidence of this particular benzo leading to addiction, but I really don't think addiction is the main concern when it comes to vendors offering drugs like this. -DG
