Yes guys, I am on my way to rehab in just a few moments. I will be on a blackout period for 2 weeks, and then my specialist will let me look for work and help me w/ some personal issues.

Im'a miss you Mary Jane, but you'll be around when I come back.

I love you guys, and if I've ever been a dick to anyone here, my apologies.

Good luck man, if anything it's good to get away and clear your head for a bit. You sound positive and that's the best attitude to have, because rehab is really only what you make of it. If you want to be miserable the entire time you will be and it'll be one long, frustrating and hell of a boring time. If you stay positive you'll meet some cool people, clear your head, and even have a bit of fun.

Out of curiosity, which rehab are you goin to? (I'm also from socal, went to rehab out in Pasadena a couple years back.)
 
Good luck dude, i'm liking the positive attitude you've been showing towards it. Your a pretty cool guy so it'll be no biggy for you hah.

I'll lurk round the OCD social enough for both of us. ;)

talked to ya in social before you bounced out. Hope you're still doing fine man, decent amount of time in rehab but I'm hoping you'll gain more than you lose. Good luck SnR
 
yeah, so i went in that day, right?

well, apparently they expected me to piss completely clean. i couldn't, and was told i could not stay.

it's day six of being on the street. homelessness sucks.
 
:( sorry to hear that you're homeless, is there another place you can go to?

Why did they expect you to piss clean if you're going to treatment and have addiction or an issue with drugs?

Go to shelters and churches for food and shelter and see if u can find another program that doesn't test you?
 
Dude, that's insane. There are certainly shelters and churches that will put you up for a while until you can piss clean -at least-. Better options than the streets man. keep us posted if you can...

So they wouldn't let you in because you couldn't piss clean? I thought( and know) I read the whole thread. Maybe I missed something. That sounds pretty dicked up. I used to sleep in my dad's car. i know this sucks but try and find a friend who will let you crash overnight in their car. It is not the most comfortable place to sleep but It's better than concrete. Keep us posted.
