i remember making weed brownies at one point but i was so fucked up that i didnt remember how to make them.

what strain is best for brownies?
and how much would be good enough for a dozen?

is cooking bud in a pan the only way that you can make brownies?

there is a wealth of reefer brownie recipes on erowid, and any number of cannabis sites. The main thing you wanna do is grind the weed up real fine, saute it in organic unsalted butter over low heat, and use that butter instead of veggie oil while following the directions on the back of the brownie batter box.

What strain? one that tastes good
to serve 12? at least half an ounce, depending on how high you wanna get
cooking bud in a pan? you shouldn't cook pot unless its already in food

trust us man, you want to get the THC out of your bud and into some butter....look up the bud butter recipe on erowid. After that you can use that butter to cook anything with. You need to do that because THC is not water soluble, but rather fat soluble. Plus this way you dont have chunks of weed and shit all up in your food.

So? Bummer.. Pointless comment, pretty pointless thread too.

I did a lot of reading online on how to cook good weed brownies.

If you want a relatively easy way to do it, with usually a good body high where it actually works this is my reccomendation:

For 1 batch of anything, brownies, cookies, etc. Buy a box from your store, like a typical brownie mix, or cake mix. What your going to do is substitute the butter or oil on the box, for the weed butter you make.

Get at least a 1/2 Oz of some decent herb. I wouldn't use stress (although I have and it does work) or some really really high grade stuff, but get a 1/2 of some regular good chronic. Grind it up as much as possible. The more the better.

Get 1 stick and a 1/2 of butter.

Melt the butter in a pot. When the butter is melted, put the heat on low, as low as possible because you do not want to burn the buds when you put them in.

Then throw the 1/2 into the butter and STIR. Do not stop stirring until you are done. The longer you stir, the more psychoactive you are letting the THC become in the butter. I would stir for at LEAST 30 minutes. I would reccomend 45 minutes or even an hour. After awhile though of standing and stirring it will get hard, but aim for 45.

After you have stirred, get a strainer and an empty bowl. Pour the contents of the pot through the strainer into the empty bowl. Now you can either put the butter (which should be a rich/dark green almost black) into the fridge overnight and let it solidify, or throw it right into the mix, whatever the box says to put in for the oil. For example if it says 1/3 cup of oil, substitute 1/3 cup of the butter you made.

Now when you cook it, i would suggest you bake it in a 8x8 pan. It sounds small but, the brownies will be more potent in a smaller condensed pan. The only other thing your going to want to do, is cook the brownies at a lower temperature than it says on the box. If you cook at the temperature it tells you; i.e 365 for 20 minutes, your going to risk burning the THC out of the brownies. So what you do is decrease your temperature for around 185 or 200 degrees and increase your time in there. Use your best judgement, but take them out every once and awhile, and check them with a toothpick to see how cooked through they are. You are going to want them cooked all the way through, so just make sure that the toothpick isn't wet, but it comes out dry like it is cooked through. Dont overcook or burn them either, so make sure you leave the light on and check constantly on them.

Hope this helps. Ive always had numerous complimants for this method, never a complaint. ENJOY
