Hahaha…. Honestly, I was going to reply to this thread more thoroughly but it’s pointless. People who debate only become more entrenched in their views than being open to information from “the other side”.
My personal view is that the vaccine is safe but yes, there are side effects we didn’t see from the trial (for obvious reasons). One being the effect on some women’s menstrual cycle (I was also in this group) which resolves usually after a few months (I am however seeing instances where issues have continued for a longer period). No evidence at all to suggest fertility has been affected and I don’t expect to see any.
Vaccines have side effects, it’s par for the course. It’s about weighing up the risk of getting a vaccine (that has been developed by scientists the world over who came together to find a solution to covid) or getting a new virus that is not only killing people but leaving people with long lasting side effects.
I hear it all the time, “why would I get a vaccine for a virus that only kills ‘x’ of people?” It’s not the mortality rate I personally worry about, it’s how the virus is attacking the hosts body and what we have seen so far, like the clotting issue, is only the tip of the iceberg.
I have also seen lots of people say, “well I didn’t get the vaccine and I never got covid.” The number of asymptomatic people who had/have covid is huge. That does not mean you are not at risk and I will
link this case study.
I don’t support mandatory vaccination at all, just to make that clear. I mentioned before that my son wouldn’t be getting the vaccine as I don’t feel the evidence I’ve seen points to him being in any way at risk (his age group). I know many Drs in Ireland also feel this way and are actually vocal on their social media about this (children not needing the vaccine). Of course, it goes without saying children who are compromised are better to receive the vaccine than to get covid.
You can always find something that will support your viewpoint. I have tried to keep my mind open in regards to the vaccine/covid and made my decisions in line with what I’ve read. Will I need a covid vaccine next year? Maybe not, maybe the strains will continue to become less damaging and I’ll feel that I no longer require it or it could go the other way.
Keeping my mind open and I suggest everyone does the same.
Talking in circles achieves nothing but I wanted to put my final thought about this in the thread.
