the problem is that certain anti-vaxxers (for want of a better term) here and elsewhere see an incident like this, post something to the effect of "well it could have been the vaccine" and somehow feel they've made the case that, yep, yet another vaccine-related death.

in short, they're more likely to be "there's no evidence so i'll just assume i am correct" than "there's no evidence so there's no way to know". and then, with little sense of irony, go on to tell people who disagree what an unthinking sheep they are...

@alasdairm i hear ya - and that's why im saying it's an embarrassment to the rest of the anti-vaxx movement, or to those who question things in general, to say for sure, that's what happened, when we simply just don't know what really happened - we can only speculate - so im totally with you on that

it's even possible that he had myocarditis from a previous bout of covid, since covid itself can cause myocarditis

we both decided we got the initial two doses. we agree there will be no mre cause we both had mild covid related two times once positive for both so also have natural "immunity". we were eating but a little "blah". so covid really doesnt scare us if its time to go fuckit is how we see it. kinda nice to be in accord with another and understanding i think.

Somebody said on average there were 4.2 deaths per year in the two decades leading up to 2021, then it "jumped" to 21 deaths or something... this is - apparently - a 500% increase.

Well, have a look at the two decades leading up to the year 2000.

On average you have 1.1 recorded on field deaths per year from 1980-2000. Then, in 2000, it "jumps" to 7 deaths on field.

Therefore: Y2k is killing soccer players.

There was no 500% jump in 2021, unless you're cherry picking the fuck out of the data.

Deaths on field are all over the place.

There were 10 deaths on field in 2019, for example. So - in 2019 - there was a 250% increase in on field soccer deaths.

Therefore: the impeachment of Donald Trump killed soccer players.
