I was only about 10 when Jilted came out so obviously I wasn't going to raves then, but I envy anyone who was raving in those days. I love modern EDM music to death but it's just not the same as this, hell even modern Prodigy won't ever be like they were back in the 90's

Yeah Fat of the Land was also probably the first EDM CD that I listened to. I still remember the first time I saw the video clip for "Smack my Bitch Up". To my ten your old mind, that seemed like the coolest thing ever. :) I was especially fascinated by the ending of the clip where you find out who the partying "dude" really is.

Yeah I am sure the early 90s rave scene must been out of this world.

Same as went to a local underground club in '91 and started attending free parties in '92, was full on up till about 2000, but am in semi retirement these days ;)

I always like the Prodigy and knowing quite a few people from Essex way i even know the girl that di soem of the backing vocals on Experiance, that said the tunes wrer evry rarely played out at any of the parties I went to. Maybe Outa Space once or twice in the early days.

i can still dig on some "Jilted Generation".

raves were different then for me in my city, because they didn't stop until everyone was pretty much gone, late after-noon/next morning, or for several days in a "lock-down-party"...
good times.

what makes you dance all night?

wish i was my age back then raving it up, would have been awesome. first prodigy album i listened to was fat of the land, i was hooked, and it literally got me into all types of electronic music

I started back in 2000, right around the time I joined BL.
I'm 27 so I still got a pretty early start. I was fortunate enough to catch the tail end of the original rave scene in the DC metro area, including Buzz at Nation, warehouse parties in Baltimore, pre-bisco Starscape parties and Ultraworld parties at the DC Armory. That was a really amazing time in the DC party culture. I would have started younger but I didn't drive, couldn't sneak out, etc. I started listening to EDM in around 1996 so I was very psyched when I could finally get out to parties.

:D
