In few years time someone mentions 'bluelight' to you, what are some of things that will pop in your head. Memories, stories, people, parties, anything....

as for me:

1. The moderaters at the time i joined bluelight: Haste, MikeySammy, Mr.Horse (who closed my 1st ever post! hehe), Tarsarlan...

2. The very first 'where the wild things are' out in the bush somewhere.

3. MorphuseDaq's and Eagleeyes' funny posts.

4. Earthcore 2000.

5. Going triping in the city gardens with a huge group of kids.

6. The people i met. The friends i made. So many to name, but i'm sure you know who you are.

7. Bluelight BBQ/s.

8. Bluelight bush party.

9. Ganisha bushdoof.

10. junglebusiness.


I'm gonna stop now, all these things are coming back to me but i'll be here all day if i was going to put them all here.

Strangely, for a chat board, my memories are of the people, not the posts. I got to meet quite a number of Bluelighters, nearly 100% of whom were nice chaps and lasses. In no particular order, some highlights:

* Johnboy and his wife and the time they owned Bar Prudence
* Seeing Lep and Horsey's first gig at Earthcore (may there be many more) and snow-boarding that perfect day with Horsey at Mt. Hotham
* some of the meetups we had at that bar in Bourke St (what was the name again?)
* the BL couple that went off and got married, Caramel Cutie & Spanish Fly : she was a really lovely person, he was head-over heels for her and they were a Melbourne Bluelight love story. I want to add her to my BL Fuck List!.. ;)
* meeting Space Frog and Orion, two really nice people I still see every now and then (hi guys)
* introducing Wookie to BL, who came up with the immortal line, 'beat it likes it owes you money' and had BL's laughing across the land.
* some of the REALLY narky, fighting posts we got into, especially the ones where I told Ghost to use proper English instead of the pidgin language she adopted and she told me to fuck off...great fun! <<waves little paws!>> ;) and the very deep, very serious, very drug fuelled discussions that Pinger, JohnBioy, Trancer, Apples, Haste and plenty more of the usual suspects and I used to get stuck into...
* all the other BL's I met, too numerous to mention. For poly-drug users, you're pretty cool people.... =D

... So that when I'm oldskool like you guys, I'll be able to come back and put heaps of stuff, and people will look and go, HEY, that guy's been around for ages, because he posted at the start of the thread. ;)

The ONLY thing I could rightfully put here, that comes into my mind every time someone says "Bluelight" to me, is this fucking thread!

I'm new here but i think the laughs is what i will take away from bluelight so far!
unless someone flames me and it ends up being 20 pages long then i might reconsider
 
Munke Mc is still around... i had beers with him on saturday night. Thanks for putting up with me in my 2cb stupor :P

I have such fond fond memories of so many times. Bluelight has enhanced my life by letting me meet such wonderful and diverse people. People I doubt I would have met otherwise, and who will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Much love going out to all my friends, you know who you are :D
 
memories...

when i look back at bluelight in a few years or longer i know i will rememebr lots...but as someone else stated...it wont be the posts or threads that i will remember...it will be the people and the stuff i have gotten out of bluelight...so far bluelight has made me aware of a lot of things...some good...some bad...but the things i will remember are...

1: in particular...Tarsarlan...because we have formed an amazing friendship with such a strong bond that it goes beyond the forums of bluelight...

2:everyone else i got to know

3: the things i have taken in through forums and threadsand other advice...things the have enhanced my knowledge and mind...

4: the amazing bonds i have with two other bluelighters in particular...doon and harraser. you two along with Tarsy i dont think i will ever forget...i know i wont. *snuggles*

5: all the partys and events and socailising

6: all the trips to melbourne

*sighs*... in the end everything closes like a chapter in a book...im glad i will have so many fond memories of bluelight and specailly its people i have gotten to know through it...

Whoa

I've been around for a fair while, yet it only seems like yesterday that I joined up and started meeting people from here.

I don't think I'll ever forget the antics (there's too many to mention) that I've been involved in. I certainly won't forget the friends I've made from here that's for sure.

There are a few meetups I'd like to make a special mention for though which are.....

and I know there are many many other meetups which I'm failing to mention here.

To tell you the truth though I don't know if I'd tell my kids what I got up to. I think I'd prefer to just have a little chuckle to myself every now and then. ;)
 
im going to remember the boob and penis thread and the singles and who i want to fuck thread...yes i have a dirty mind, how the hell i thought i was gonna stay celebite i havce no idea hehehe

Being a relatively passive bluelighter, and only now starting to take more part in the scene - TT'03 and wazs 30th

i was gunna think about my reply, but thankfully nezo posted before me...cos we all know how much i hate thinking about posts.

so yeah, what nezo said, except i missed the BL bush doof cos for some fucked up reason we decided to go down to portsea pub and eat blue melodies :D:D:D

ps. shadow i'm extremely dissappointed my breakdancing didn't make your list :(
