My situation requires a bit of background. I've shroomed in heavy doses(whole quad once) and light doses multiple times. I just finished my freshman year of college and did shrooms maybe 6 times over the course of the year, but in large quantities.

Recently I came back home and arrived at 8pm from a 7 hour bus ride. All I had eaten was some hummus breakfast and some snacks. I drank on a semi-hungry stomach that night and woke up the next morning (still having not eaten). I decided to eat 1.7g of shrooms for breakfast and had fun with the trip for about 4 hours when i came to baseline (during this 4 hours i had 1 bannana). I took a few hits of weed. I noticed I was extremely hungry so i stood up to make some food. As I was in the kitchen I got a sudden head rush, waited for it to pass, but it did not. I became extremely dizzy, my vision became static-like(visual snow), pins and needles affect, and I became extremely hot and sweaty.. This feeling intensified for 35 seconds when I warned my friend for help, who told me to stop bullshitting. I walked down the hallway to go outside, when the visual snow became so extreme, finally my vision was blinded and I smashed face-first into the wall. (This is the point where I was like damn, so this is how Im gunna die) I sat on the bed when I could see visual snow again but it was so intense I basically couldn't see. My friend comes in and thats when I go unconscious for few seconds. I regain consciousness with a loud ringing noise, hot and sweaty, and fading visual snow.

The last few times I have smoked weed and I get really high, I get visual snow and start to get the feeling I had that day. Does anyone know what my situation is? I feel as though I may have done some permanent neuro damage. Its been a few months, and I feel like I'm just off, my reasoning/planning skills are just not the same. I feel like my freshman year of extreme drug use is starting to show its side affects now that ive been sober all summer. I know this is a lot of txt, but I appreciate any comments.

hmm i'm not sure its the same thing but i get something that sounds similar... my vision goes distorted like i can see specks of light flickering in and out of my vision sometimes things get really fuzzy. If i'm outside it looks like i can see light rain everywhere. i get this all the time, and i attributed it to many years of poly-drug use... had my eyes checked out too and they were fine. its especially intense if i'm having a panic attack, sometimes feels like i'm having a flashback things get all tingly dizzy disorientated and my vision gets especially affected. found xanax cleared all the symptoms which to me makes me think it might be all be anxiety related. I've been to neurologists and had MRI's on my brain and showed nothing , doctors tell me its all psychological... who really knows.

if u feel like the drugs affecting ur ability to study then quit while your a head.
i tripped on da psyches and smoked da weeds during the period of my life where i was suppose to study, and they killed my concentration completely.

so i fucked up skool. luckily i live in a part of the world that's not yet totally fucked,
so i can still get around easily without a diploma.

peace

p.s. about the sober visuals, they could go away with time, maybe they'll stay.
u better learn to live with it, like people can learn to live with ringing ears.
if the sober visuals r getting too worrisome it might be a sign to stop tripping on drugs.

You're fainting.
See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neurally_mediated_syncope
Weed causes vasodilation.

I'm tall and skinny and this happens to me all the time when I spend too much time sitting or lying outside in the heat and then stand up too quickly. It is much more likely to happen to me if I'm high. I dunno what the shrooms have to do with it, if anything, but fwiw people report fainting with shrooms also (although shrooms are vasoconstricting, so idk maybe some else can explain this). Anyway I wouldn't worry about "permanent neuro damage" ruining your "reasoning/planning skills". This is more common and benign than you think.

Wow your comment really made me feel a bit better. "lightheadedness, nausea, sweating, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), uncomfortable feeling in the heart, weakness and visual disturbances such as lights seeming too bright, fuzzy or tunnel vision. feeling of impeeding death" could not have described my symptoms any more accurately.

I'm now wondering if I fainted because my extreme hunger (low blood sugar) coupled with weeds vasodilation and standing up. After all I did feel the symptoms right after i finished hitting the pipe

thanks for your reply
