The new series of Real Housewives of Orange County when they go on holiday will now feature narcomantas, sicarios & random beheadings.

"The region, also known as the Mayan Riviera, used to be mainly ruled by the Los Zetas cartel — but the Sinaloa and Gulf cartels have engaged them in a brutal conflict.
Now the Jalisco New Generation Cartel has gained supremacy.
The cartel is known for torturing and dismembering its victims.
In January, a bloody shootout between its cartel members and a rival gang left seven dead in Cancun.
Five were shot dead the following month in a bar.
The previous August, eight bodies were found strewn across the city’s streets — with two victims found dismembered and discovered in plastic bags."

You look at the root of this and you find a large one in the prohibition of drugs. Unregulated, violence enforced and black market profit motivated states create these results.

I made a post putting across the same point you made on the DC part of this forum but for some reason most people failed to grasp the simple point & cause of what causes this kinda murder.

I've been saying for years now (well since I began to follow the narco murder issue in Mexico) that all the knife crime in the UK down to drugs is nothing really, people get stabbed to death which is bad but we don't have gangs chopping their rivals into pieces with chainsaws & then dumping their body at the side of the road or hanging people with their arms/legs chopped off over the motorway.

If you end prohibition on drugs, you end cartels, and you end a tremendous amount of unnecessary human suffering. The War on Drugs is a catastrophic failure. It's time to face that fact. Drugs won. The only way to stop organized drug crime is to make it so drug use and distribution isn't a crime.
