If they would just release all the class updates at once it would be less of a bitch.
The pyro update just made me want to kill myself whenever I played.

It's not bad, I've got it for 360. There's alot of glitches in multi player. but overall I think it's worth it.

I think Greandes are what made original TFC fun

The creators of TF2 did a pretty good job making it "New" again, but I miss the "art" (fun) of Conc grenades and other grenades, which, simply added a whole additional element of diversity and innovation for the PLAYERS. I know people complain about the grenade exploits, but once everyone understands what the exploits are it becomes fair again.

Removing grenades did create a more "team" focused atmosphere, and I do agree that the removal of grenades is essential for making it completely different, but it also made the classes very limited to their simple niche. Which, after a few months, becomes boring, IMO. The classes slowly felt inflexible.

I do think they gave the Pyro a much needed damage boast, and they finally made the Scout capable of doing something besides getting killed.

I also feel soldiers in TF are obviously the best class, because they are easily the best killers. They can spam rockets anywhere and they only need few indirect hits to finish anyone. 2-3 of them in a group can bring down about anything. Add a medic or a spy and they will bring down anything. I do understand a good sniper can kill anything anytime.

Overall TF 2 is great and everything, but I think the general consensus is that interest in it expires fast. They didn't add a single new class, and every class just uses a freakin shotgun. Plus those fucking critical are lame. I know they average out and everything, but why did they add a LUCK component to a game that had a die hard and serious fan base? Critical rockets are complete bullshit.

They should have added an arsenal of weapons and allowed players to select a choice of them into a Diablo style space inventory. I also think they should have allowed classes a way to be more versatile, like engineers could build some sort of whacky ladder, Heavy's could toss light weight classes into the air, and the spy could use a grappling hook or tie a rope. It sucks the soldier is the only one that can breach any terrain with a rocket jump.

Anyways, I understand if no one can relate to my frustration with TF2. I just feel there isn't a whole lot to the game, and mastering the "art" of grenades gave birth to innovation and 'getaways' that gave you some weird fight or flight rush, which are simply not present anymore.

Gone are the days when 2 conc jumps could fly anywhere, or pop an HW with 1 emp, or cover your allies by dropping hallucination grenades in the snipers nest, or create utter destruction with those cluster grenades.

Maybe the answer was as simple as keeping grenades, but employing a CS style to them, which means they count as your equipped weapon and make using them make you vulnerable. Maybe they should have capped the max grenades to no more than 2 or 3? Oh well, fuck it.

Bring on SC 2 and Fallout 3!!!

Has anyone heard anything about an expansion pack? Can anyone relate to me?

STOP-NECRO TIME.

TF2 just had a huge update and is now Free to Play.

It's pretty much been my game of choice for 2 years now.
