video game: Marvel vs Capcom 2 (Arcade/Dreamcast/PS2/Xbox)

I've started getting serious the past few days... been doing a lot of MvsC2 study, getting into the technical aspects.

I'm now playing with Magneto/Sentinel/Cable... going really good at the arcade.

I can't do any of Magneto's infinite combo's yet, but I can do some really good air dash's/magic series with cancels/super and get a large portion of the bar

Sentinel I'm still getting used to... I'm not very good with flying characters :D

The only thing I miss is Blackhearts AAA. Sometimes I can catch people with Magneto's magnetic orb move or with Cables stun grenade... but it's just not as useful as a single button Blackheart AAA when they super jump

^ fuck cable, if you're using magneto and sentinel. psylocke's "help" attack (type A) is much more valuable using magneto/sentinel. i love ppl who like cable (that aren't good with him) , and piss the shit outta them, killing their HYPERVYPERBEAAMMMM ability in <10 seconds +D. try to use psylocke instead, perhaps you'll understand what i'm talking about.

There's a freak at the arcade that plays Magneto/Iron Man/Cable and he's unstoppable.

This dirty looking mexican guy is just unhuman.

Besides the fact that he can infinite combo you with Magneto or Iron Man (haven't seen him use Cable much to be honest)... he had a few neat tricks.

I liked this one.

If you did a super, he would do his super (with either Cable or Magneto), but then switch over to Iron Man straight away and it seems that Iron Mans super has absolutely ZERO startup and the switchover takes ZERO time and his massive beam is instantaneous... so even if you did your super a fair amount of time before he did his, you would always lose out in this situation.

They have the arcade machine at a laundromat near me but 2 punch buttons on the 1st player side don't work and the joystick on the 2nd player side doesnt work

Yeah our 2nd player at the large arcade, 2nd player punch's don't work properly.

It's from all those stupid noobs that play Cable, do the super (without a combo/or launch) and rape the stick/buttons while the person is in guard for no reason... big 100kg nerds that literally make the cabinet move.

Alright I'm making some progress. I'm using pyslocke now as my AAA, sets me up so I can dash in, crouch kick with magneto then launch no problem. I'm still not really good at his combo... where you launch, do the 4 hit magic series, do a hypergrav then immediately cancel into his tempest... it's so precise the super cancelling

learn to just infinite combo the bastards..much mroe effecient
