don't base your decision on buying the game because of other peoples opinions. i hated COD WaW at first. my best friend wanted to know if he should get COD4 or WaW and i said COD4 for sure. but he got WaW instead and i'm glad he did because i decided to give it another chance. once i got used to the maps i was addicted. i still love COD4 but it's fun to switch it up once in a while. plus the maps are sick! i love em' both. i think most people think it sucks because they're so used to the COD4 maps and when they go on the new one they're completely lost and usually get their asses kicked. just give it another try

also, i don't think it really matters if people call world at war "COD5" because aren't they coming out with COD6 modern warfare 2 soon anyways?

Video game: cod waw (multi platform)

Well I know its been out for a while but I couldn't find any threads so...

I got the new maps last week. They are definitely nice, well planned maps. I like this game a lot even though it is WW2. The problem I have with the multiplayer is I keep getting fucked up. I'm a halo player first and you just can't play this game like halo or you're fucking dead with the quickness. I thought maybe we could talk strategy such as what are you packing and with what perks.

What I use most is

STG 44 w/1. Betties 2. Stopping power 3. Deeper penetration

Springfield w/1.betties 2. Camo 3. Extreme conditioning

Type100 w/ 1.bomb squad 2. Stopping power 3. Steady aim

I got these kit ideas from other players and was hoping If people out theirs in here we might get some better ideas. I know how to quick scope but can't do it well, If there's any other tricks people use here would be a good place for em.

I for one die way too much. With a kill/death ratio under 1 any tips to keep me alive would be great. Maybe its just me but, I slice the pie through every opening yet still die all the time. With a k/d close to 2 in halo 3 it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

I actually like Cod5 unlike the majority here. :/ Nazi Zombies is fun, but it does get boring after a while...

Im quite a new one to gaming on and off for past ten to twelve months or so,im totally amazed at how quick games drop so much so soon in price after release im no way near had the best games as of yet,im starting COD WAW for the second time i got fed up dead quick and wanted others i was just being impatient and not completing the game and iv not forgotton iv needed to get it again so i know im making some progress i have completed a few campaigns its an experience the buzz you feel with the first one you do!i get xbox fever then for a while cant turn it off but its my only hobbie i wont give it up for anybody not a chance .x

I don't care what anyone says this was my favorite out of the call of duty series

The multiplayer war mode on hardcore was so fucking bad ass, especially with the bolt action rifles
Everyone would always be using the machine guns like the sturmgewehr 44 and just spray like every other call of duty game and I'd just be running around raping with the mosin nagant or springfield with iron sites.

If you got good and accurate with it, it didn't matter if it didn't spray 100 bullets a second.

But I tried to play it a couple months ago and it's nothing but spam and people hacking and cheating and shit, couldn't even get a hardcore match going.
No other call of duty had an 18 player hardcore mode, which is why I liked waw so much, and the bolt action and semi auto rifles were the icing on the cake for me

^ Yeah WaW was the fucking shit. Only CoD game that isn't complete garbage aside from maybe Black Ops. I'd still play it if it were possible to play online without running into 5 hackers every match. Maybe they fixed it, idk, but last time I tried every single game had people flying in the air, hiding inside walls, and invincible MP40 spammers.
