I couldn't agree more. I just picked it up yesterday after work so I haven't played much of it yet but goddamn is it good. Most fun of any game I've played in a while and that includes the orange box and ace combat 6.

Best Military FPS ever made.. it's seriously incredible. When the nuke went off in the city, I almost crapped my pants. Ive never seen any graphics like it.. Im so glad my system and monitor are monsters, im having too much fun playing it, haha.

Just beat the Sniper mission where you play as Lt. Price. God DAMN the end of that was hard.. it took me 8-10 times or so to finally get through it. (Playing on hardened, the 2nd hardest diff)

single player sucks (you don't actually have to shoot anyone) but the multiplayer is good fun. deffinatly worth buying.

I don't know what game you've been playing, but I managed to shoot about ooooohhh, I dunno, 2000 baddies? If you want to sprint from checkpoint to checkpoint then by all means go for it, but it rather defeats the purpose of the game really.

It dosnt suck because you don't have to fight, it sucks because you think "ok I've shot enough baddies now, time to find a checkpoint I guess". The multiplayer on the pc is amazing though.

Outside of the actual gameplay of CoD4 I think this game has the best "core" I've ever seen. The map loading, graphics changes mid-game, alt-tabbing, just basically everything that it seems like every other game has issues with it does perfectly and quickly. Game designers should take note of how this thing works for the end user.

This is like a masterpiece of programming behind the gameplay. You can just feel it if you notice these kinds of things. I'd love to see the code behind it. Maybe I'm just fucking SICK of EA though and their shitty coding regarding these kinds of things.

My only complaint is it seems the maps were designed for consoles so the PC version is crowded when you're playing with more than 20 people or so. Playing 50 player multiplayer on some maps is basically just throwing grenades as fast as you can before you die and repeat.

I got this game a little over a month ago and i LOVE it... I was a big counter-strike 1.6 player and played at a competitive level for quite awhile...

I was wondering if anyone else plays this for the PC?

Hell yeah, I got this game a little over a month ago and have beat it three times already, once on regular and twice on hard, or whatever the second to hardest level is.

This game is fun as hell, I'm actually a bigger fan of the single player than online though.

It scared me for a bit... not in a hide-behind-the-sofa way, but more of a "wtf is going on this is a bit intense" way.
The section on the helicopter in b/w nightvision was almost wrong... didn't like the fact that you were this invincible hovering overlord who, first fires it's guns and nothing happens for a second, then all hell breaks loose below...

Chyeah. Got this game around Christmas time. Probably got about halfway through the campaign and decided to jump up to online play. At first I was brutal, with about 900 kills to 1800 deaths. Now I'm a level 41 I believe, with roughly 2800 kills to 2900 deaths. Needless to say, I've gotten much better. My tag that I play with is Psychonaut14, but it's not like you're remember it anyway.
