Researchers from the Behavioral Pharmacology Research Unit at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine are currently recruiting “bath salt” users to participate in an online survey. Our research unit has previously conducted innovative research with various psychoactive compounds including psilocybin and buprenorphine. The goal of the survey is to characterize use patterns, drug effects, and health risks associated with “bath salt” products. The study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board of Johns Hopkins Medicine.
The survey is completely anonymous (IP addresses will not be recorded) and will require 25-30 minutes to complete. If you are interested in participating, please click the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JHUBathSaltSurvey. Your participation is voluntary and will not be financially compensated.
The study will run for 1 year (12/10/12-12/10/13). Participants must live in the United States, be 18+ years of age, speak/write English fluently, and have used a “bath salt” product at least once before. For more information, please contact the researchers via Bluelight's private messaging system.
