I've been practicing mindfulness meditation for about 5 months now, I am diagnosed with extreme anxiety disorder and bipolar manic depression, the first two months I could only concentrate for about 2-3 minutes. Now with the meds and counseling I'm at about 10-13 minutes. My end goal is to use the meditation enough to where I can titrate my meds till I take very little and just meditate twice a day. I'm curious if anyone has had success with this type of meditation? Or any tips? I used to be the strongest sceptic when it came to meditation, until I did it with a very patient psychologist. It simply blew my mind. Okay I'll quit rambling now ? stay strong brothers and sisters, y'all rock on! ??❤

Cool! Never tried with my eyes closed etc but I try to stay mindful while walking for example.

Do you feel like it helps you all day long?

I wish I could do it while walking around and stuff but ever since the military I walk around with my head on a swivel.

It works well for me all day right now, but, I'm on a full regiment of medications prescribed by a psychiatrist. I'm also in counseling and I go to a few or more 12 step programs.
