I am genuinely ashamed to share your main sentiment but while I do not believe killing is justified outside the defence of ones own life, I wanted him popped in the justification of the Planets defence. They should have used a pro from the Security Services like they did with President Kennedy but the perp was some dumb kid. thankfuly the SS agents protecting the target made sure they murdered him first in case any facts conflict with the truth. I wish he had died though as thats the election done. Once back in office he can start identifying as many black, brown and /or queer folk as co conspirators, so they can be locked away with all those young girls, who, having the nerve to make decisions about their lives as well as their bodies will perform the duties expected of the OG 2nd Citizen.
Pls don't make these blanket statements. There are nutters on either side of the political spectrum. That's fine if you identify as a right-winger or conservative or whatever, but the last thing the U.S. needs is more political polarization. And anyway, you're in New Zealand and I doubt you're at all qualified to speculate with any accuracy the likelihood of a second American civil war anymore than I can predict a Maori uprising and violent revolt in NZ.
But it's too late; he's already in this world and it would not be good if he were martyred. That would be a disaster and who knows what kind of crazy shit that could potentially set off? Political violence needs to be condemned, friends. One thing @TripSitterNZ has right is that it is not the solution.
I think widespread civil unrest would be a more accurate term, his base is incredibly passionate (see Jan. 06 events). But yes - civil war is extremely unlikely.
