For the day/s after doing mdma, i find that i need more weed to get higher... its like my tolerance changes.

I dont have much of a tolerance really, id vape .2 to myself of an evening but not much more than that. Only been enjoying weed for under a year still.

But i found myself doing .4 last night, i had been on mdma and i remember when i did it last time i ended up grinding more to do before.....
I wonder if the lack of Serotonin is the cause of this? Cannabis does act on serotonin in a way right?

first off, there isn't that much serotonin activity caused by weed, but there is a small amount.
for the week after rolling i usually find that i get higher, but in a different way, like almost as if the roll comes back a little bit. I dont know what your issue is here, but im guessing it's lack of dopamine (MDMA actually does act a lot on your dopamine, not just your serotonin) that is the problem. You're basically losing some of the stimulant and intoxicant effects from the weed.

I have a feeling i have low dopamine.
When I do stuff like cocaine i just feel instantly depressed. When i did base, it left me with a very nasty comedown. Im not entirely sure i enjoyed the experience either. Its like time just flew by though.

when i'm rolling, i can smoke a few million blunts and never think it's enough. but it's never changed how weed hits me when i'm not rolling. it doesn't seem unheard of though...psychoactive drugs always seem to change things forever.

^ That's basically it , what rules said.

Why is it like that? I dont think i could smoke endless, but i was vaping twice as much at least.

Weed does have serotonergic properties, but they are pretty slight. It works almost like a very weak SSRI, by increasing the time serotonin is stored in the synapes before it it taken up by receptors. I don't know exaclty why that would cause someone to not feel weed as much the next day. Being that MDMA can cause temporary and even permenant downregulation, which is less serotonin produced by the brain, I would expect that weed would actually be more effective the next day because you are able to get more out of the little serotonin you have left. That's always how it worked for me at least, the next day or so after rolling I found that weed would hit me harder, but hey drugs affect us all a little differently I guess.

As with a few other posters in this thread, I also feel as though bud makes me more stoned following a night of rolling. I would guesss that this is felt because usually after taking a pressed pill, that more than likely contains speed as well as MDMA, I'm usually achy an worn out physically which in turn let's the body soothing effects of the cannabinoids found in bud shine brighter than normal as they are actually working to help recover preserve your wellbeing.

As far as how no matter how much you smoke while rolling you eventually reach a stoned peak you can't seem to out due until you finally sleep or return to complete baseline, I would be very intrigued to hear why this occurs. Could it possibly have something to do with the imbalance of the main neurotransmitters that MDMA use temporarily causes?
