Things that affect the comedown.

So last time I rolled I had an awful comedown.
I tried to figure out what it was that caused it.
At first I thought it was alcar, as I preloaded with alcar and ALA for the first time (well I had alcar in the morning and rolled in the afternoon - sneaking alcar into the festival didn't seem like a great idea haha)

Looking back now however I think that the bad comedown might have been caused by a poor sleep the night before. I struggled to sleep and only slept from around 3am to 7am..which is well short of my usual 8ish hours.

With a roll coming up this weekend Im interested in what people reccomend to do, or to avoid, in order to beat a horrible comedown! Of course the first thing is to have tested stuff!
 
benzos. I know it's been discussed at least once around here somewhere. You need xanax for the comedown. Klonopin will work too, but for me xanax is the best.
 
I Look after myself, granted it doesn't always work 100% but i'd rather grit through a comedown knowing I only needed a little herb and not a whole cupboard of pharmacuticals.

You gotta take the downs with the ups ya know? It's those harsh comedowns that stop me doing it every weeekend.
 
I think my initial post was somewhat misleading.
I meant things that you do in order to avoid a comedown/lessen it.
I dont mean other drugs that help you get through it.

For example, a friend of mine insists that if he masturbates alot the week of a roll...his brain feels alot more fried after a roll. Pretty wierd but he insists on beleiving it!
 
I've always found having a bath/shower a little bit of munch and slapping a film on in bed sorts you out for a comedown. If thats what thee meant?
 
Dose less. When I've dosed under 175mg for a night my comedown is smooth - basically doesn't exist. It's nights that I've redosed 2-3 times that the comedowns suck but weed helps in those instances.
 
Shower, a nice herbal sleeping tea, passion fruit, animated movies are nice after rolling, cuming ( but sex usually sparks my roll up again), a small meal, milk, sunrise at the beach, just laying down and relaxing.
 
Masturbation is great for boosting seretonin. Its also good to masturbate if you are quitting opiates. It helps your brain get back to normal. This is science! :)
I also try to stick to under 200mg. I still get nasty hangovers though sometimes. Weed is good initially for me, but after a few days it just makes me tired and paranoid. I just take it easy and try to exercise and masturbate and sleep! haha
 
I think not having a chewed to hell mouth makes a difference the next day too..it is really hard to feel normal when ur cheeks are so chewed that ur face looks swollen.

Adding magnesium gluconate to the list of must haves!
