i was very shocked to here this story friday night from a very reliable professional source.
apparently during the last 6 weeks there have been 3 so-called 'HQ' related ectasy deaths around the country. unbelievable if true cos there has been no publicity in the sydney press; kept very dark. i have dumped many of these pills (domed, double-sided) and have found them to be sound and somewhat strong. so?????
could it be possible that the supposed deaths were not directly linked with the HQ chems but with dehydration etc?
anywayz bluelighters thought i'd get it out in the open. the mail is 100%
 
What you're saying is extremely unlikely. This would mean that there is a conspiracy in the Sydney press to CONCEAL deaths rather than SENSATIONALISE them, and this goes against everything I know of the media

agree with bucke, but those users that died could be contributed to many other factors such as additional poly-drug use, personal health etc, i had some HQs and found them to be a nice pill, without the less enjoyable effects that have been posted on bluelight over the last month or so.
 
I seriously doubt it...
Specially after this " glass and rat posion " fiasco they would jump at the chance to stir up a frenzy in the media.
 
Now correct me if Im wrong but did anyone read the "sun herald" sunday edition? Bottom of the page " The E Generation" Just talking shit about the under 18's gig at Tantra, and how easy it was to buy pills.
Anyway Im sure I read somewhere in the text that there has only been 9 extacsy related deaths in OZ. Now I may have read this wrong but if you still have the paper have a look and do correct me if I have mis-read it?

Well I don't know about the deaths... would have to agree that the press would on it big time at any opportunity.
As for HQs well I have to say that I believe very strongly that they have something other than MDMA in them as fairly major active ingredient.
HQs are the only pill I have ever had that has "blown my head off" even after a heavy night of dropping. Also the effects I have had are sometimes quite different than what I normally experience with odd halucinations making me think the world suddenly moves like I am on a see saw and then stops again, things like that.
Yesterday I got quite sick after munching half an HQ (domed double sided) and just felt disgusting. Now this could be a number of factors (I had a MDMA cap and an old orange cK the night before and an MDMA cap earlier in the morning... not more than I have had in the past) it was damn hot at Summa Dayze, had not eaten all day, etc.
I guess I would have to say that I have enjoyed the pills (apart from yesterday) but that it would be nice to have them analysed. I have heard rumours of Phenyl-nitrate (or something similar) but I don't redily believe rumours, especially in respect to drugs.
Just my few cents worth.
 
yes there have been close to 10 deaths in autralia blamed on "e's"... BUT info from dancesafe has told me that 1 single batch of the same pill caused 8 deaths in the us, 7 deaths in australia, and many more in the uk.. The pills contained PMA, not mdma.. PMA gives a simlar felling to that of a weak mdma tablet, but is EXTREMLY deadly if od... two tablets is enough to wack you for good.. The batch was supposedly a batch of "grey double stacked mitsubishi turbos".. all the deaths worldwide were found to have lethal levels of pma... My opinon, all these so called esctasy deaths are NOT from mdma, real esctasy, there from dodgy imitaion pills... OR from dehydration from stupid users.. now theres an argument to legalise REAL MDMA... hahahahahaha..
PS i was at welcome 2001 for nye.. I saw only one person inb troble for the whole night.. He got hauled away, and the rumor going aroundf the crowd is that he dropped 2 mitsubihi turbos!!!

someone posted about 2 months ago saying his friend collapsed after 2 hq's and was rushed to hospital NOT from dehydration.
people on here told him he was talking shit and hq's were the best pills around.. i couldn't believe so many people were taking the piss out of this guy for a warning, there *could* be something in them that in a high dose is lethal to some people... who knows? no need to be so stubborn.
 
no, people hassled him because his friend took 2 double doses, ie 4 pills, which is madness by anyones standards and with pills that strong is going to send most anyone to hospital.
people should treat every pill they havent taken before as tho its going to be the strongest pill in the world. start with halves and see how you go.
 
johnboy: well ive sepnt the past half hour looking for that post :P THanKYOU! i didn't realise he had 4 pills.
but i still think people on here are stubborn! hmm not just here, my ex housemate used to have *any* pills most had no markings, it didn't matter to her it was a "pill".
i totally agree with the halves!
i wouldn't have a *clue* about the hq's.. besides they're *SoOo* old Hehe :P

I saw a guy carted away in the morning from the Hard Nation tent.
He was dancing and then just collapse into convulsions. I helped keep him in a safe recovery position and all that stuff till the Ambos got there.
I'll never forget the look on his face after he stopped convulsing.... Scary shit.

I heard that the HQ's possibly have some 2CB in them and our EZ test looked like it had some green in it. These were the ones back in late november.
Four of us had two each at earthcore (nov 25) and other than the strong effects no one felt anything unusual although we all got visuals. One guy was seeing animals on the dancefloors - though he had another 007 as well.
I havent heard of anyone getting sick on them though.

i know someone that had a 50 of speed at some stage on new years and then (maybe stupidly) took 2 HQs within half an hour of eachother and after she sat starring into space looking awful for a while her friends had to carry her out and she spent the night in hospital and has since had a relapse (which the doctor warned could happen again). a half also put a friend of mine on the floor for a while, she was totally conscious just had a little trouble dealing with walking and crowds.

The HQs (double stacked) were indeed one of the strongest pills I have ever come across in melbourne. However the effects it produce was really the same as almost all pills in Asian countries like Singapore and Malaysia. Local bakes often dun come across as "good". Prehaps the deaths and ODs were due to the Abuse of the pill...(takin too much at once?)
 
i don't doubt your story at all iguanaboy. thorough reading about the HQ's, the many different reactions ppl experienced, and personal use of them, has given me the impression that they are a pill to be cautious of... ESPECIALLY in any sort of cocktail.
by HQ related deaths i would assume that HQ's played a part, rather than caused the death by themsleves. which i think is also the cause for the scepticism of others.
i would call the HQ strong definately, but not sound. i won't be eating any more of those pills.
 
Bass junkie, i saw this guy out the front of shed one(i think its shed one, the one where digweed played), with a small crowd around him, in the early hours of the morning.. as i said, the rumour in the crowd was a double drop of Mitsy's... He didn't look to bad, just very weak!!
Fat tony, i agree totally with u about hq's they are messy, and their is something dodgy in them, i suspect 2cb..
when i fist had them i thought they were the bomb.. but now i got my heands on some yonnex's, and the truth is revealed, now i no what a real CLEAN STRONG pill is like.. U simply feel great, and no real comedown..!
 
that guy double dropped three times. 6 pills. Off to hosipital after the third double. As I remember it.
I know people that have had 4 and been fine.
I've HQ-ed 3 times. Different effects each time, with similar amounts of other substances two of the times.
I also believe that HQs could easily cause problems if mixed with something wrong. Appart from being strong... they contain some weird shyte. I'm preserving one for when we get some proper testing sorted.
