in the past half year or so i've been experimenting with nicotine lozenges of 1-2-4mg, for multiple reasons.
You see..
I'm going to cultivate the Nicotiana rustica, the super strong visionary brother of the tobacco plant,
I'm going to harvest its leaves at their finest, drying them swiftly and gently in a food dehydrator, like one would mint leaves.
Then, put a little bit of leaf, 10-100mg of the herbal material, under my tongue and hook up with the Plant Teacher spirit of the plant, and get taught and healed under his expert guidance.
A few days ago I received some Nicotiana rustica, and got some exposures, now that my body and mind made peace with nicotine.
Words cannot express the qualitative difference. The nicotine lozenges produced a feeling, the leaf bits provided me with an Entheogenic Experience.
Pure nicotine in even higher dose is so superficial compared to a deliberate communion with this plant teacher, who prefers to be called Spirit Leaf by me.
As he put it: "Asante contains Serotonin, if you take serotonin, do you get the Asante experience?"
Also the manner of usage is all-important.
Are you taking a substance to experience its effects, or do you engage with a plant spirit in dialogue and let him/her take the effect places in you, in the process of interacting with you?
Vegetalismo. engaging the Spirit.
Nicotine has a spirit too but, less complex.
Those lozenges were a feeling, the herb provided an interaction,
I've always been in the "rather mescaline than cactus" camp but now i'm not sure anymore. I have little doubt that Peyote itself adds a lot to the experience, not just expressed as alkaloids.
Are there more people engaging the spirits of our beloved Entheogens?
I lost most interest in the lozenges.
The herb is where its at and because its a meeting, a consultation, it is more fulfilling and its less more-ish to follow right up with the next dose, because you have gotten psychological content to digest.
