This is what we get for signing the Cures Act into law in 2016 that accelerates product development. Before, the FDA had to go over every bit of data, but now they can just take the companies word for it.

I agree with this. It shares mechanisms with other antivirals that are definately contraindicated wrt reproduction. I think it would be a bad call to use of pregnant, about to become pregnant, or about to make somebody pregnant.

I also agree that removal of FDA regulation is a bad thing. In the past decade the FDA has lost quite a bit of my respect due to cowtowing to patient advocacy groups/drugmakers (and how different are those really?).

That’s terrifying…if the government came out and said if everybody isn’t vaxed by say February 15th they will only play nickelback on every radio station all day long forever I bet everybody would be vaxed…in all seriousness this is the only song of theirs I like, I think the beginning lyrics are brilliant

I'll tell ya what tho..

the people that i know that didn't want the covid vaccines, but were ok with all of the other vaccines before covid, are no longer ok with any of those vaccines now

"I'll never get a vaccine again" i hear that a lot

so that's what mandates and people acting like asses over this created - more robust anti-vaxxers than ever before

Yea people tend to dig their heels in when faced with extremist…but putting a emphasis on the “teams” was part of the whole thing, divide n conquer, it’s an old tactic…
 
Tbh I’m starting to feel like we are already at war, a war for our freedoms…this whole mandate ordeal reminds me of that story “if you give a mouse of cookie”, cause if you give a mouse a cookie he’ll want a glass of milk too, and if you give him a glass of milk…we’ll you know the story

The show has been going downhill for years. If you look at really old episodes of The View (with Meredith Vieira, Debbie Matenopoulis, Star Jones, Barbara Walters, etc) it really USED to be a lot of fun. Unpredictable, amusing, with good-natured bantering amongst the hosts; not so fucking political and combative...

Yeah, when the term "misinformation" started being used by the media thought police to censor people who had a "different opinion," I KNEW we were fucked. Have you noticed how people are slowly being trained (via the media) to just accept and obey?
