Unfortunately the numbers game drives everything from the corporate world to sports. I am not sure I agree either and that notion has pissed me off many times. We are people not numbers yet we run the world that way. But I am not yet sure of a better way to do it.

So the issue is let's 99% of people are ok but 1% get very sick or whatever. Do we help the 99% and say screw the 1%? I honestly do not know my own answer to that.
 
i feel like im the rare occurrence - it's rare but some ppl end up with anaphylaxis after a tetanus shot - that's me

it's rare but some ppl get clots

it's rare but some ppl have a heart attack after the shots

i dont wanna be that rare person

and i already am


ya know what else is rare? a femoral hernia...they make up 2% of all hernias...and guess what? i have one....

so there ya go - that's my view on "it's rare"

good thought provoking point, it's just more complicated than that right? it's not the AI train accident dilemma, but even if it was there would still be endless debate. :/

The main complicating factor is that, for this example, that 1% actually endangers the other 99%, so the 99% isn't truly 99% safe.

(but to be clear if it was only 1% unvaxxed... covid would go extinct within weeks.... that's the goal...)

anyways, man I really respect people's personal freedoms, not wanting to take some forced vaccine, I really understand why they have such an extreme reaction to that as well.

I think what really pisses me off is they are always also the same people who refuse to wear a mask. I would respect people who refused vaccine as long as they wore a freakin mask! But they don't! arghghhggh

Denying a vaccine is one thing, denying that covid is a major problem and that you might be spreading it yourself is another.

Ok I can here the weak arguments now. But you might kill people and get people sick if you are unvaccinated (which I consider a BS guilt trip from the high and mighty vaccinated) But with abortion there is no "maybe". You are killing someone.

So anyone that thinks abortions are a choice but vaccine are different has not looked close enough to the term "my body my choice"

exactly, it's sheer hypocrisy to me. Look at Texas, banning abortion but also vehemently anti-vaxx and mask mandates

I don't get it?

One is religious? One is political?

Where is the middle ground... where most people live... in science and moderation???.... actually.... I'm beginning to think most other humans live in a different dimension than I do. lol

simply put, i just think they're not exactly good for your health since we don't really know what's going on and the reports on clots are alarming to me....

also, anaphylaxis, which i already have and i have no doubts that it came from a tetanus shot, and also which a doctor of mine stated that's probably where it came from before i even said anything....

so

im cool with fucking around with my immune system

im nearly certain that every single allergy i have, came from a vaccine....and those allergies are a nightmare

you know what I'm not even going to dispute these stats, give you the benefit of the doubt (they seem legit anyways)

I would rather have a 65% chance of not getting sick

even if it comes with a 1/10000000 chance of giving me some serious side effect

that's ultimately what ALL of this is about

even if 1 in 1,000 people actually DIED from the vaccine (they don't)

it would STILL be better than the 1% mortality rate of covid......

simple math


8 people in NZ had heart inflammation... not all died.... vs how many covid deaths? I'm just guessing.... 20-50,000? which is a hell of a lot more than 8 deaths....

I've never known anyone in my life with a deadly peanut allergy... doesn't mean they don't exist...

plus, all these microplastics... maybe have something to do with sharply increasing rates of autism.... that's something we need to start explaining

and male sperm counts sharply decreasing over the last 50 years...

extinction level event is on its way... :(

I truly believe humanity may only have 100 years left... I honestly do not see us being very peaceful 50 years from now.... look at us...
