omg some fucking dickhead was suppose to be self isolating after arriving into NZ with omricon and instead went out and fucking went to all the clubs after christmas.

Same thing happened here all up the east coast of Australia, which is why the virus is now running absolutely rampant, especially in NSW.

Oh and yeah I didn't get anything for getting vaxxed either. Not that I fucking wanted/needed anything.
OH WAIT no I did get something hahahahaa. Because I was (am) pregnant I got super VIP service and got herded to the front of the queue to get the shot

Regarding vaccine efficiency, you really must understand how your immune system works vs a real virus and how it reacts to the simulated threat.

Vaccines as a simulated threat cause your immune system to release a variety of antibodies, because the vaccine is a broad range threat it produces a broad range of anti-bodies some of which your body will still be producing when you encounter a real threat.

Most of the anti-bodies your immune system creates against a vaccine miss the real virus.

Everyone has a different way of deciding how to make this number a percentage. For example
-30% of the different anti-bodies created in a person can effect the virus.
-30% of the total anti-bodies including duplicates are effective.
-30% of people vaccinated were immune to the virus on contact.

All three ways are used so representing anything by percentage becomes misleading.

Everyone is guessing on omicron, I have heard zero anti-bodies from all 3 vaccines. You should look it up from a source you trust or just believe the media because that's easy.

The reality of any virus that our human immune system can become immune to is exposure is the best chance of creating immunity. If Omicron is back to regular flu levels, which it appears to be, just one more sickness to go.

Forcing naturally immune people to take the vaccine may actually fuck up our immunity. Really hope we make this action illegal for all government worldwide.

Glad I got my vaccines although overdue my booster... gonna get it asap. I have covid ATM couldn't smoke for two days there cause I couldn't breathe right I'm only 30 but have asthma.

This shows a clear misunderstanding of how your immune system works.

Do people think vaccines are like pain relievers?

Just an fyi you should never get vaccinated while sick beyond a minor cold. When you are already sick your immune system is creating anti-bodies to fight what you already have. Diverting it's attention to fight a simulated threat ends up doing a poor job of both tasks.

Well I thought there's a reason for booster shot - to help my immune system as my antibodies from my first two shots will have started to fade? I never once suggested it was a pain killer...maybe a symptom suppressor? Idk I'm not a fucking scientist lol. Anyway, I won't be getting my booster untill I've recovered so no need to worry about being ill at the same time. I feel so lucky I have access to medicine because so many people don't.
My antibodies will be through the roof

Because I could catch it again and the antibodies from my first two shots may have decreased and I may be vulnerable to breathing difficulties. Omicron seems to be milder but there is still other variants around. I know someone who's had it four times and they aren't vaccinated... So obviously natural antibodies do fade as well

You should maintain T and B memory cells for a long time after natural infection, so even if your antibodies deplete to undetectable, your immune system should still be able to use its memory to create new antibodies upon reinfection.

Do you happen to know if their symptoms were milder after the first infection? I'm extremely curious about immune systems, biotech and Covid, so that's why I'm asking. Also, did they test positive every time, or they just recognized the symptoms?

Yea she got the moderna shots pretty early i think back in March or April - she's got a very low grade fever too slight cough


4 times?! i don't know a soul who's even had it twice -- see that tells me something's wrong....you do know there's a ton a positives that were false positives because a lot of tests can't tell the difference between other colds and flu right? that's most likely what's happening there....i don't believe that for a minute that somebody had covid-19 4 times already - no offense....im just not buying it

You don't have to be symptomatic to infect someone. You don't have to be unvaccinated to transmit it.

The CDC has made corona a special case, but doctors are becoming more aware of how to treat the symptoms.
