Covid-19 The New Covid Megathread v.Oh-my-cron!

Mr. Krinkle said:
but NZ still says it's safe

They're saying it's safer than the virus.

your article said:
The statement noted that "Covid-19 infection can itself be a cause of myocarditis" and said "it remains safer to be vaccinated than to be infected with the virus."

Wow, just stop. You obviously are not even taking our conversation seriously.

This is the response from moderators acting like children publicly?

There is nothing left to discuss about the old vaccines they didnt work very well but now they are old news. You can't raise an argument any longer that is worth reading.

Just for the record I wasn't ever proving anything and I never cherry picked any numbers. You misread 1/2 of what I wrote. It has been a slice watching the world crumble beneath those of you who just swallowed everything you were told. More fun really watching all of you change goal posts over and over while blowing smoke up each others ass.

Vaccine technology works, greed for money can lie about anything. Your fears have parted you from your wealth and the world is weaker because of this series of mistakes.

Did these old vaccines work? Who cares. Do you have one for Omicron?

massive jump in covid deaths in the uk today. People are fucking dreaming if they think omricon is going to be less.

This is going to be the worst fucking covid wave the world has ever seen. Brace your self

So it's too early to say if it's less deadly but it's not too early to say otherwise?

How does that make sense?

the entire NFL and NHL is walking around with covid right now....it's gotta be omicron right?

"The Omicron variant of the coronavirus accounts for 73% of US coronavirus infections based on sequencing data for the week ended December 18, the CDC said on Monday."

"Twelve people in Britain have now died with the variant, and 104 are currently in hospital with it, Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab told Times Radio on Monday."

not too bad right?

I could never be mad at you, Krinkle.

Omicron spreading rapidly in NSW could be a good thing.

There is no data available yet about hospitalization and death rates.

It's too early to say.

Hospital admissions have plunged in South Africa as evidence continues to suggest that Omicron causes less severe illness than previous variants.

Across all age groups, only 1.7 per cent of identified Covid-19 cases were admitted to hospital in the second week of infections during the current fourth wave.

This compares with 19 per cent in the same week of the third Delta-driven wave, South African Health Minister Joe Phaahla said at a press conference.

More than 70 per cent of citizens are believed to have had Covid-19, giving them some level of antibody protection.

However, new cases in the second week of the current wave – driven by Omicron - were at 20,000 a day, compared with 4,400 in the same week of the third wave, the data shows.

It comes as coronavirus cases in the Gauteng province of the country, which includes the cities of Johannesburg and Pretoria, fell last week for the first time since the alarm was raised about Omicron in November.

Well there is data. I stand corrected. Looks promising. I'm curious about the vaccine efficacy versus omicron. Most cases seem to be among unvaccinated people.

Some years ago my TV stopped working...never got a new one. To much fake news.
Better to just come here to see what's going on. And Youtube.
Western Australia is a virtual Covid-Virgin. Apparently they're going to open up the state in February, allowing all the world's disgusting diseases to come flooding in.
We'll become infected and go crazy like all the other schmucks.
Might go panic-shopping for toilet paper today. Get in early.
