Covid-19 The New Covid Megathread v.Oh-my-cron!

@Electrum1 I'm not at all surprised that people who couldn't wait for all the facts to come out about the newfangled vaccines also couldn't wait for the facts to come out about the Ukraine situation.

Without newsmedia telling us what's going on and how to think about it, it's extremely doubtful anyone would have any opinion of their own on a war in Ukraine. But you go try and tell people this is proof that they're being manipulated.

"The Millennials, about ages 25 to 40, experienced an 84% increase in excess mortality over that period, Dowd found. It was the highest increase in excess deaths of any age group last year – seven times higher than the Silent Generation, those who are older than 85."

there's so many ppl with their fingers in their ears when it comes to this....it's so fucked up.....i can't believe this all just happened in such a short period of time in my lifetime and how quickly things changed in a matter of months...it's just insane

and i couldn't be happier with my decision to abstain from it all
Saw this today:

I just got it. It was like a 48 hour cold virus, although the congestion or sinus infection wasn't as bad as a regular cold.
Did you have a cough? I just had it about 3 weeks ago, and avoided a cough. On the second day of being sick it felt like I was developing a cough, but I spent the day eating ~150 halls cough drops and ended up not getting a cough. I also took vitamins, C, zinc, and D.

@Electrum1 you're unvaxxed and you think you caught omicron 3 weeks ago or did you actually test positive too?
Yeah, I'm unvaxxed and I tested positive twice on the tests the govt gave out through the U.S. Mail. My neighbor gave me the test kits he got for free. I honestly assume it was whatever the new variant is, not omicron, because our health experts are consistently behind on everything.

I posted here about it on day 6 or so.

I have not even entered Omicron into my personal mental or verbal itinery.

I'll stick with Covid as a starting place. That's as far down the ridiculous path on this labelling and buying the science as I am going.

Use a spoon end or something if ever you do a test.

Those things are tiny flesh shredding sharp barbed wire Maces.

I had lung congestion and a weird dry cough but taking a tablespoon of cough syrup was enough to stop the cough and sleep. I've had worse colds than this where I'm basically drinking cough syrup from the bottle...like I said for me the flu-like symptoms were gone within 48 hours, that hot cold feeling and muscle fatigue and just unable to do anything, but I didn't have a fever.

I'm just putting it out there that it exists still, but I'm definitely questioning the value of these vaccines now. I don't think they made my health worse over the long-term but I don't really know if they are effective. I think they should have come out with something like a vitamin shot, etc. Something more broad based that helps you fight a cold virus. I realize myocarditis is a real thing and probably at the start that might have been a big threat. Its definitely something beyond my paygrade, I think the government should have done a better job informing people.
