Covid-19 The New Covid Megathread v.Oh-my-cron!

anybody else not think about covid at all anymore? i go days without thinking of it. actually, since the news shifted to ukraine. something about the media....
it (or something else) will be back soon hope its not worse but arent they always?
I was thinking about it less, but then I caught it. This is the 6th day and I'm pretty much back to normal. Still blowing some crap out of my nose but otherwise good to go.

On that, personally No.

Because it's for the moment still effectively trashed my life personally physically.

So it's impossible not for me to think about but I know what you mean and to that question I think I can say yes I have pretty much completely detached from it all together on the whole political and hype etc debate this argue that baloney.

A long time ago actually I woke up to my senses on that ridiculous futile charade.

And ftr, IMO. Grimez is not exactly criciaing others and being a hypocrite above.

I think that exact point could actually be mirrored back at Alasdair tbh.

But qe don't need to be biased here. Just objective. Ackowledge facts.

Okay. Guy drank and other helth risks.

But the fact IS these vaccones do actually kill.

And quite a lot.

So to come right out and say for example....well his lifestyle was poor so...

Is another bised copout. Let's just be more open to other sides, less adversary, more objective and open.

I'm personally not trying to prove anything anymore I don't know why I ever imagined I shouldn't even try.

i was just wondering how many death were caused by the covid vaccine and searched. this is what i found. do not know how accurate it is so not pushing this as "facts" in any way.

"Over 339 million vaccine doses were given to 187.2 million people in the US as of July 19, 2021. Only three deaths have been linked to vaccination."

3 deaths it says. i feel it is higher but....
anyone got different info from a citable source?
best

i'm quite open to the idea that the vaccine killed shane warne.

but i can't possibly know for sure.

is jgrimez open to the idea that the vaccine did not kill him? it does not appear so, hence my comment.

if you can connect the dots and show me how i'm being a hypocrite i'd be obliged.

thanks.

I was not trying to label you as a hypocrite actually.

Sorry if that's how it made only sense. I'm not likely to make any point even as unclearly as I usually do.

I just meant it really works both ways here. We all have bias.

We've no idea what caused the man to die, now!

It is true jabs are bringing about sudden deaths or crippled health states and confirmed as direct ADE's, in as Grimez also hinted, statistically an alarming number of top ultra fit, young spirts professionals in all sports have dropped since this.

We know these tbings happen, that's all.

And how can we ever say for sure, with numerous pivotal heqlth factors concurrent?

Hell people been dueing all ages all kindsa shit sonce the beginning of times we know or believe we know anyway.

So I was juat making that general point. One man says he died after jabs, yes could be otherwise related, but people are biased to considering the jab playing a fundamental part.

And you suggested he was being a hypocrite maybe? I'd need to scroll up recap now lol. Hazy cognition presently.

I don't know how to close that right now but I wasn't trying to accuse you of being a Hypocrite or making any unfair point.

I'm just saying again we have all been perhaps somewhat biased which is natural like the sports team coach is always going to see the offside and penalty decision going the wrong way with critical thought somehow and reachable.

And we don't need to be competing I feel also like we have been for so long maybe we can move past this a bit a little more now and see that we are mostly on the same side

indeed. you and i agree.

but jgrimez knows for sure the vaccine killed him.

q.e.d.

alasdair
I could understand actually if in his mind he considers it rationally probable despite the other factors.

You know I realise I don't think I have any "side"here at all now. Just kind of caught up in the thick of it like us all, but with the most intense life uprooting personal experience taking priority and focus.

Obviously I don't support, agree with vaccines still.

So that is a side. But I'm not standing against, dictating etc.

I haven't been thinking about it much, since I caught Omicron and got over it, and so have most of the people I know/hang out with. I'm still wearing a mask in the grocery store because I can see it makes the old people uncomfortable if I don't, but I'm so used to that it isn't even a bother to me.

I was thinking about it less, but then I caught it. This is the 6th day and I'm pretty much back to normal. Still blowing some crap out of my nose but otherwise good to go.

Glad you're feeling better. Did you get pretty sick, or was it mild?

I wear a mask mostly. Not at work, though. I need a lot of air when working and masks do impede this.
I spend most of my time in an affordable housing "high rise" and all residents are over 60 or 65 (not sure). No one wears a mask. I do as there is a sign on the door stating that a mask must be worn before entering building. Only medical personnel, aides and care-takers wear them.
The mask has been added my daily life for whatever reason. In certain areas. It could hypothetically save a life, yeah? Who wouldn't wanna be a part of that? <3

Thanks, I appreciate that. It was pretty much a mild cold with a few differences. I had normal energy, normal appetite and no body aches. I did notice I was mildly sweating when sleeping. Last time I had a cold everything was worse.

Tested positive on day two and I had a fever and my lungs felt raw like the day before a bad cough shows up, so I did what I've posted about on here in the past about avoiding full blown colds, and ate like 150 yellow Halls cough drops lol, and it worked again and my lungs felt fine the third day, and I also didn't have a fever. Barely smoked any cigarettes.

Next 3 days were just constantly blowing crap out of my nose, but otherwise felt fine.

Today: Pretty much normal but can still get results when blowing my nose, but it's optional to blow my nose.

So here's what is different. Today I noticed my sense of smell was different, but not like others describe where they lose their smell/taste. Woke up today, made a cup of coffee like normal. Middle of the day I'm watching the market and kept smelling popcorn, which I haven't had for at least a month. Even had my windows open until the afternoon. Finally investigate, and I was smelling my microwave from the living room. Cleaned it, smell went away.

Then, noticed that when I put a cigarette in my mouth before lighting it, that I could smell all of the chemicals in it, which I never noticed before.

Finally, market closed so I logged off and also logged off BL to go take my walk. Get back and when I open the door it strongly smelled like coffee, even after I smoked cigs inside all afternoon. 10 hours after I had a coffee.

Maybe my nose just hasn't been cleared out like this for a while and it isn't abnormal, idk, but I'm now going to automatically pay attention to my sense of smell for a while, lol.

Personally I have come to believe very simply actually for the most part at least for the vast majority of the population who have basic sufficiently functioning immune systems and on damaged nervous systems Covid can still be pretty unpleasant initially and then linger for sometime including the loss of sense and taste my own neighbour last week reported having this exact experience himself but he's absolutely dandy and back on his feet now.

So as long as you have that basic general noncompromised status doesn't have to be perfect you may suffer for a bit but for the most part it really should be no great disruption to your well-being or living.

I should just emphasise that more because I'm not trying to fear monger and put any extra fear into people about catching this at some point I really try to do the opposite which makes me look like a hypocrite but the point is I am a very abnormal case with a severely damaged and therefore wide open nervous system already and an extremely malfunctioning immune system.

So for myself Covid specifically is a very very different thing potentially because it can enter the nerves so easily and once there a specific and severe form of long Covid develops and because I already have so much nerve damage from Lyme disease and other infections it has been able to take advantage of that to hold a stronger residence and at the same time so easily inflict much greater damage physically on those nerves.

But my mum has had it twice to including long Covid in her nerves and she currently does not have any Covid at all know any single trace of nerve damage or lasting harm from the Covid.

And she 72! you know what I mean lol.

I hope I've made my point very stoned but it's definitely not baseless and is clear in my sharper mind.

Yeah it was like a moderately bad cold for me this last time, too. I had some aches and pains and a very mild fever the worst day, and just general malaise. I also had "raw" lungs (good way to describe it) and a terrible sore throat that felt like I had an open wound in the back of it. My secret for getting over a cold quickly (or any respiratory illness) is to absolutely not give in to the urge to cough. if possible I will ignore the tickle entirely. Occasionally maybe I can't but I will do my absolute best. The more you cough, the more you have to cough. And then after a day of a lot of coughing, you end up with terribly sore lungs and you stay sick for much longer and usually the cough will linger on and on.

I have actually started to wonder what happened to all the vaping teens who were dying right prior to the covid nonsense, what happened to them? Caught a bunch of flack from mama dukes about my THC cart habit. Made me more uncomfortable than all of the covid I never came in contact with (also caught flack from moms on the vaccine front). Media is a powerful thing eh?

My experience on BL has taught me over the last 20 years that there is a predisposition for be on the "left" in terms of sociological and other issues.

Let me just relate my experience. My cousin was 30, we were friends, he was made to get the jab back when it first came out... He died about 2 weeks later of a massive bloodclot , multiple blood clots in his lungs and chest.

Then my grandma (his grandma too) Got the pfizer.... she collapsed and had to live in the hospital for 2 months while they removed bloodclots from all over her body... and then physcial therapy... All of the sudden she was major fucked up, and still is.

My good buddy Lev... he had a twin brother... twin was arrested, convinved to get a shot for covid, and within 5 days of being released we watched him die... well "drop dead" in a parking lot .... (just like the thousands of clips of young athletes collapsing the world over)

People make fun of me for being willing to smoke meth, but not take an experimental vax thats seemingly killing those around me.... but to me its just like - I'm not going to take a risky shot , especially if there is no high.... not even a benefit of any kind it seems

I am very sorry for your loss of your cousin, and Lev's brother. I hope your aunt recovers and is well.

How do you know your cousin and Lev's brother and your aunt had blood clots from the vaccine? COVID can cause blood clots, damage the heart, brain, lungs, etc.

I did not get the jab when it first came out. I waited and almost a year later I reluctantly got the Janssen J&J vaccine, as no other vaccines were easily available. It did make me feel tired for 2-3 days but I just caught up on much needed sleep. This was much better than getting COVID, and having long term heath issues from COVID, or worse dying from COVID. I eventually took the Moderna boost jab a year after the Janssen J&J and I just felt tired for 2 days after the Moderna boost jab and that was it. I had no other side effects.

Even though I have been VAXXXED and taken the boost jab, I still believe people should have the personal choice to not get vaccinated.

I always thought they either became very sick or died from toxic chemicals in the Chinese vape capsuels or cartridges, or got lung damage from vaping? I used to smoke pot and hashish, but I never smoked or vaped daily as drugs are expensive, and I have done cardiovascular exercises daily for decades so I was careful.

I tried out a vaporizer before, the volcano, and the magic flight launch box. The high lasted a long time for 8 hours with the MFLB vape. If I were going to use drugs again or hashish/pot, or THC I would eat it in a lower amount.

The THC vape cart thing was from vitamin E acetate in black market cartridges, which causes some sort of serious complications in the lungs (I can't remember exactly what). It wasn't the result of vaping in general.

Then again I don't know anyone who died from that. I just assumed it was happening. There is heavy propaganda against vaping all over the television, big tobacco wants it gone because of how much rates of smoking have gone down.
