I suppose that’s possible, still pretty stupid thoHave you considered the possibility they're just really too lazy to take it off?

it's been how many years, and you still think wearing masks is only about protecting yourSELF?!?!
Yeah, I hate that. They get tangled in my glasses and I have to take both off and put my glasses back on. Annoying.(also, as a glasses wearer, i sometimes leave my n95 on when making a short trip between stores, as it is a semi pain in the ass and a time waster.to remove it and put it back on...
You do seem to be super emotionally invested here, for whatever reasons. Maybe it's not worth spending time on if it stresses you out that muchi'm developing an ulcer from these fucking covid threads...
I never called you stupid. A couple weeks ago you said tens of thousands of kids are dying, when the number is actually below 1,500 total for 0-18 year olds. 527 for 0-4 year olds. And those numbers aren't only "due to covid" and include deaths that simply tested positive at the hospital.i really don't give a fuck who thinks i'm stupid
... just in caseI saw somebody fishing alone with a mask on
Dentists and surgeons don't wear masks to stop either themselves or patient from catching viruses. It's about stopping droplets/debry from either mouth or nose from potentially contaminating the patient. Surgical masks are not designed to stop particles the size of viral particles, which is why there are specialist masks that are rated for that specific task.do you think dentists and surgeons are just completely stupid for wearing masks, imagining that they are trying to prevent themSELVES from catching something?
...i really don't give a fuck who thinks i'm stupid for doing so...
even if it's as low as a few hundred in the u.s. (and i've seen good arguments that the covid death toll is actually higher than many of the estimates, i'll wait a couple years before coming to a solid conclusion), it's still a good idea. firstly, death is not the only bad thing; 2) the vaccines are WAYYYYY safer than the virus, and 3) we don't have very long term data on the virus (and i'm not sure what long term problems i'm supposed to assume are plausible with the vaccines?)So my question is, now that you know that, do you still think infants should get vax shots that have no long term clinical safety data? I figure your opinion may have changed now that you know child deaths are much lower than tens of thousands
71% to 80% of 6-month to 17 year olds already have covid antibodiesi have a personal interest in fighting against harmful misinfo and propaganda, and am also trying to keep up with the latest info. sometimes in threads like this, i learn new things. mostly i see the same regurgitated crapola.

you're damn right i'm happy to give my kids the best protection available.
would you put your money on danny devito or the 1996 chicago bulls? betting on danny devito is how i view antivaxxers.
what do you think the viruses hitch rides on? hint hint in bold above. our mouths aren't machine guns spewing barenaked individual virus particles.Dentists and surgeons don't wear masks to stop either themselves or patient from catching viruses. Both Fauci and the Chris Whitty (UK) said masks were not recommended at the start even. They said that because they both understood what I've just said, that all the evidence showed they were not suited to the task of stopping viral transmission.
it's my understanding that the b cells and t cells are still able to fight off omicron fairly well, at least in terms of preventing serious covid reactions (like hospitalization, death), even if the antibodies are specific to older variants. anyone got the studies on that one?Why should they take a vax that doesn't stop infection or transmission and is designed for an extinct variant?
Did chlamydia write this?N95 masks are worse than condoms.
Yeah I remember reading that the T cell memory from natural infection can last over a decade. idk how they figured that since this covid hasn't been around that long, but I assume it's similar enough to SARS or whatever else that they can draw a conclusionit's my understanding that the b cells and t cells are still able to fight off omicron fairly well, at least in terms of preventing serious covid reactions (like hospitalization, death), even if the antibodies are specific to older variants. anyone got the studies on that one?
