Exactly my position as well, I just cannot stand that they're firing people over it or refusing them to enter certain countries (uhum Canada & US, that's it I think), that's madness.

the graph being discussed was about tourists testing positive after entering Israel for vacation, at least that's what I read.

just double checked it... "travelers entering israel". Maybe not exclusively tourists but still probably not representative of the general population.

only an asshole of a boss would make you show a doctors note or test (in the US)

we get a lot less paid time off than you guys do over there, work culture is different

every job I've had, if I called in sick they can't really ask or do anything about it... because we are also not getting paid at the same time (in most cases... here we use our paid time off for VACATIONS not sick days, the little we do get)
 
My girlfriend's job required her to show my positive test result when she stayed home when I had it. I don't think it's that uncommon, but I don't really know because I have worked at the same job since I got out of college and I work from home so it's not the same at all.

Ah yeah true, don't entirely recall where I got these thoughts from then, probably remnants from an very similar discussion a while ago.
Then it's indeed a reasonable explanation
 
I think we can safely say at this point that the Chinese are nuts, both leadership and people. Treating your population like prisoners, and being willing to be treated like prisoners. Do either side of the equation know what a billion people looks like when they come together in righteous anger? I look forward to seeing all of the Presidential palace's possessions up on Ebay in the near future.

someone close to me had pretzel 19 and from all possible things guess what he did? he started to take Augmentin, after 2 boxes it was cured. I am talking not the "initial" gov experiment but the aftermath of what happend in March/July.

was at police station a few days ago saw that not even there but ok try and wear it if possible on streets, now you do you. I saw ppl getting K.O on street because of others telling them to wear the muzzle, guess learn to fight not necessarily subject related -- good for body & soul.

They dismiss the anecdotal experience because it's as real as it can be, even if it had an enormous n (number), they wouldn't care, because the sold out experts wouldn't back it up in their super-duper-ultra-real studies funded by Pfizer/Bill&Melinda/Wellcome Trust etc.
