The Last Covid-19 Megathread v. Hopefully...

Anyone here actually had covid thats unvaccinated? Im on day 34 since testing positive. No vaccination, i was the small % that have strange symptoms from this thing. Its like a cross between malaria and flu.

I smoke quite alot but it didnt seem to effect my lungs as far as i am aware. Could be wrong about that though as i keep having chest pain on day 34. No real pronounced cough. The inflamattion of the stomach has been crazy. Fingers numb, feels like a stone in my stomach. My legs feel like i have metal pins in them. So sore..

My immune system seems ruined. The random feeling in my heart seems to come and go.

If i drop dead in the next few months it was certainly down to the virus.

I can only say it felt like a horrible research chemical with no positive effects.

My siblings who both got it aswell who were vaccinated seem to be over it all in less than 10 days.

Id get vaccinated if it means i can leave this stupid arse draconian country too.

Thats if i dont die from some blood clot/heart attack from the virus itsself.

Stay safe out there
Yeah I had it about 2 months ago and I'm non-vaxxed and posted about it on here at the time.

I didn't have a cough either, other than on day 2 or 3 I felt like my lungs were raw like right before a cough develops, but I just ate like 200 cough drops all day (not joking) and lungs were good the next day.

Others I know that had it did have stomach issues like you, and I'm unsure if they were vaxxed or not.

You say day 34? Have you gone to a doctor to get checked out? If not, then it could be something else besides Covid imo.

I had covid in February 2021, before I got vaccinated. It was like a bad flu, with worse body pains, high fever, a horrific headache, and yeah, I also didn't have a cough or any other respiratory symptoms. It was pretty shitty, but fortunately I didn't experience any lingering effects besides fatigue after the 3 days of being acutely sick, and also fortunately, no heart issues. I caught it again in early 2022, omicron, after getting my vaccine booster. The second time it was basically just a cold, and not even the worst cold I've had.

I wish you a clean recovery.

I guess we "should be really, really concerned" that the government has slightly less power over our lives

FQqRrH3XsAITfDc

someone needs to take high school government again

system of checks... dumby

the courts have just as much "power" than the executive branch (in theory... I guess a judge can't hit the nuclear button to start WWIII...)

they're appealing

see what happens there, but if they lose, that'll weaken the CDCs authority further - which is good or bad depending on your view

the CDC and admin have played fast and loose with the legalese already. it was even said that the initial mandate was introduced "through the backdoor". yet the mandate was brought back on appeal.

what happened here seems like a judge taking the same license and throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks.

in my view this is part of a greater struggle for legitimacy in the west, between liberal elites who believe they can control nature itself with enough political power, and people who are tired of being guinea pigs in this "better world" experiment.

My neo liberal family members are finally getting fed up with these draconian Covid restrictions based on the ‘science‘. I warned them about getting backlash for speaking out, at this point Covid is a part of these people’s ideology. It was never really about the science, that much was clear to those of us that are around actual experts in the field and follow non subverted scientists. I am just praying they don’t lobby to bring back the pcr test, crank down the cycle counts, and have a Covid propaganda explosion about cases. Changing voting laws in purple states may be the only way to mitigate the disaster that will be the mid terms.

What laws could Dems change at this point to save them this November?
Ballot harvesting with lots of drop boxes, mail in voting with Covid as the reason with no id would be the biggest one that would help them again. These big races are decided by single districts often times. The establishments prevailing ideology is so unsellable they will have a harder and harder time getting the legitimate numbers. Their long term goal of flooding the country with illegals is still a gamble, but likely what they see as the light at the end of the tunnel.

edit: also banning chain of custody requirements was a huge one for them in 2020

dude they are so far behind right now its going to be super obvious if they cheat.

If they get the narrative going at the right time, and then start creating polls showing improvement it would be easy enough to game the handful of districts they may need to hold the senate. They Are seething bc Florida managed to ruin their redistricting gains, so they will start getting desperate. But I do honestly think they are playing the long game. Im expecting them to try and pass some of their crazy stuff now since they see this no win scenario atm. W/e they do in the elections it will be about damage control

Nordic study that finds risk of post-vaccination myo/pericarditis resulting in hospitalization in males 16-24 of 380/million post pfizer-moderna combination is 28x higher than the 13.7/million rate they found post-covid infection

Myocarditis only:
22/million post pfizer dose 1
53/million post pfizer dose 2
29/million post moderna dose 1
138/million post moderna dose 2

That's only for people who were actually hospitalized too

I wonder what the numbers look like for people who get covid?

I got the vaccine and a booster, but I don't think I'll be getting another booster. I caught omicron after the booster. I got the original covid strain too, before the vaccines. The vaccine is very effective against the original strain, and pretty effective against delta, but seems like someone who is healthy probably isn't gonna benefit much from it. I don't regret getting boosted or vaccinated since I had no side effects whatsoever. But definitely leary about getting another.
