The Last Covid-19 Megathread v. Hopefully...

Remember two years ago when I said the mainstream would flip on covid before the election so they could blame Trump for everything?

Well it's starting and of course Bill Maher (coward) is finally saying things he likely already knew but feels safe to say now, and likely most of his fans that are laughing and clapping also at the time supported the things he mentioned

One thing he doesn't mention is how they did everything to stop people from accessing extremely safe and low cost Ivermectin, and now a study was finally published almost 3 years after the study concluded that shows Ivermectin works great, and then Chris Cuomo now saying he takes Ivermectin every day, when he was a huge voice pushing BS during covid

No you didn't - haven't you heard? Covid doesn't exist ;)

Sounds grim mate, wishing you all the best for full recovery

and then Chris Cuomo now saying he takes Ivermectin every day
This is as dumb as his previous stance. You're not supposed to take it every fucking day, it's not a supplement.

No one is asking why an anti-parasitical medication has a positive impact on a 'respiratory illness'. Might just be that lots of people are unknowingly infested with parasites, creating a tremendous tax on their bodies especially if their diet and health is poor.

And still no talk about Vitamin C & D what so ever.

I don't think he is being dishonest. I don't agree with him on everything but I feel like he has been kind of on a similar trajectory as me over the past few years. Nothing like this had ever happened before. And even though a lot of you were already predisposed to being skeptical of the government/establishment.... the vast majority of people felt like we could trust them when it came to something this serious. Is there some specific reason you're calling him a coward?

Also, as to his audience, I feel like he made changes to that. Years ago his audience was super liberal and would often moan and groan at his edgier jokes or just remain silent. And he would get super irritated and how stuck up they were. I stopped watching for a while but at some point after he started becoming more anti woke , the audience started being more agreeable and loud. Obviously they changed their methods/criteria for giving away tickets.

The big difference of course is that he's a talking head who can influence thousands/millions of people. Anyone in that position has to take full responsibility if they fuck up by directly influencing behaviour and decision making of the public, it's not enough in my book to apologize after the fact.

None of the talking heads during covid embraced contrary discourse. In the UK, OFCOM (government media regulator) basically hamstrung all media to follow the mainstream narrative and not allow any real discourse at all, no serious questioning. This is what led to the 'Great Barrington Declaration' coming about, because there were many professional voices who were being deliberately excluded from discussion. We now know the military spied on the few journalists that dared to stick their noses in e.g. Peter Hitchen's.

The talking heads had a choice. They should have talked both sides of the debate and encouraged the audience to make up their own minds, basically being impartial, instead of just being a mouthpiece for government. That would be acceptable to me. And if they couldn't do that because of contracts (or OFCOM, etc) then they should have walked away and quit.

You don't get to keep your 6 figure salary being a government mouthpiece then apologizing after the fact. That's bullshit. That's what politicians do, never accepting any responsibility for anything.

He's flipped on a few things, which I mean is good I guess, but it feels fake, like he waited a couple years to say what he thinks once he feels safe to have that view publicly, while people with the same views were getting banned online and fired from jobs

Man, I really wish Patrice O'Neal was still alive. He was schooling Opie and Anthony 10-15 years ago about everything that is going on right now, and they both mocked him for it. He even said the racist redneck preppers had the right idea, because eventually the governments are coming for all of us and our stuff.

If he were alive his podcast would have been bigger than Rogan's without a doubt.

What really scares me is when some virus comes along that we actually need a vaccine for (I assume that exists right, or do you guys not buy into that even in theory?) , there is going to be no trust left whatsoever.

Guess the experts should've been more honest. It's not my fault they destroyed credibility nearly across the board. But yeah normal stuff like the MMR vax are fine

It was mostly a radio shtick between he & Ant
they were really tight off the air
mOpie on the other hand ...

Personally I don't buy it, I think we've been bullshitted about true causes and they've been selling magic beans for a long time. What it really comes down to is nutritional quality, water quality, and pollution levels. All the [supposedly viral] epidemics and pandemics of the past involve some disturbance in those three domains.

What actually scares me is people being scared and willing to surrender their (all of our) rights. We got dangerously close to compulsory vaccination last time. If people want to be scared, fine, but leave me out of the equation.

That is the real danger to me.. either being forced against my will, or having my life destroyed (many people experienced this with job losses). Why the fuck should I be violated of my own choice or right to participate in life when I take care of my health, as evidenced by my almost non-existent illness record. And all because the majority, who in the main are obese, degenerate, disgusting fucks, get to give up the rights of all of us out of blind panic.

There is nothing fine about mercury or aluminium based preservatives. I don't believe for one second that out of all the available compounds they just happened to choose one that has one of the most neurotoxic elements as a constituent, followed then by another as its replacement.

People can reference health authorities and consensus scientific opinions all they like, the fact of the matter is that putting mercury or aluminium based compounds directly into the body is a shit idea. I don't buy for one second that the research behind it hasn't been deliberately skewed by the pharmaceutical industry either. The entire industry is full of bullshit merchants, which is exactly where it began.. snake-oil salesmen and people selling magic beans on street corners.

It's all bullshit. The historical statistical data shows quite clearly that all the major diseases (for which vaccines were developed) were all in decline or almost gone (Measles had a 95-99% decrease) before the vaccines were introduced. Scarlet fever vanished without a vaccine programme. All of it coincided with the increasing nutrition levels, water quality, sewage and sanitation, and living/working conditions.
