Welcome to The Inaugural Bluelight Golden Nang Awards!!!

Phase one of the process is just beginning, and as these are only new we need the categories first. The idea of this is kind of like the previous Bluelight Awards thread, but different in the sense that we don't want the awards to be made to suit the person. What we plan is to have out 10 or so categories that could fit a variety of people, and then take nominations. After the nomination period we will announce the short list of final nominees, and we will then have some kind of voting system to determine the winners of the Golden Nangs!!!
The award ceremony will take place at the Bluelight fundraiser to be held on the 9th November.
So, now to the categories. The idea is to make awards that are both funny, and also that encompass the bluelight spirit. So there will not be an award for "Biggest Drug Pig" because frankly that's not really worthy of a pat on the back (regardless of how funny it is
). Here's the ideas so far:
Safest Bluelighter (most committed to harm reduction in actions and attitudes)
Most Jaded Bluelighter
Grumpiest Bluelighter on a comedown
Biggest Post Whore
Best Alterego (own up to it to claim your prize)
Best Dancer
Most Brightly Dressed
Best Quote while Out (previously "while fucked" - thanks ruski)
And the Platinum Nang for the best overall thread or comment
Any further suggestions for categories will be accepted up until Wednesday 26th September, at which time RBB and myself will finalise the categories and nominations can begin... more info will be made available then...
