Wouldn’t that take away the leverage the Chinese have on Biden? Or is there worse? 😳
yes that was the point of the Chinese who betrayed their leaders who released it to take away power from the communist party and help the western world. The CIA had their Epstein asset to blackmail the clintons and other people including sciencetists like Stephen hawking.

The russians have tapes of trump pissing over prostitutes' in a Moscow hotel they have worse of hunter biden. Joe biden will be forever comprised with russian and Chinese blackmail unless he comes clean and forces his son to front up for his crimes.

Kamal harris will be president of USA within at least two years when joe bidens already slow brain totally goes blank. Trump acutally started prision reform. Kamal harris i suspect will carry on her justice crusade and lock up many more drug users than she already has in the past. And the second amdement will be history in 4 years

And the second amdement will be history in 4 years

Oh fuck I just realized... now I'm gonna have to listen to this shit again..

For 4 years I heard that the 2nd amendment would be destroyed "any day now" in obamas first term.

Then another 4 years of it in obamas second term.

Obama STILL hasn't destroyed the second amendment. That's one longass plan. He must be getting it from the same people who've been faking school shootings for 30 years in order to justify taking away guns "any day now".

Yes!! Right to bear arms is bullshit. We are in 2020. Nobody should be able to open a pistol unless they are police or military. Hunting rifles could be owned only in certain areas and you have to leave them at the hunting grounds. Areas where you need a rifle for survival against animal attacks, would be case by case.

As far an 18 year old walking into a gun shop, buying a 9mm, and going home with it is crazy.

Nobody needs a gun here. For what?

My law would be if you get caught with a pistol you get 5 years automatically. We need all the guns off the streets. Especially pistols.

This is the gun control thread. Use it freely.

I'm not a professor. Don't even have a high school diploma to be honest. Was raving too hard to care about high school.

But I did bust my ass for over 15 years to get where I am.
I live in a city where the gun violence is so out of control, I have stepped into stores getting held up. I have seen people get shot. My friends nephew was also murdered when he was 12 over some dumb gang stuff.
You need a gun to protect your freedoms? What the fuck does that even mean?

Anyways, back on track. Trump lost. The popular vote twice now. Bye bye.

The problem with a gun amnesty in the US is there are too many illegal/unregistered guns in circulation. If you take away everybody's guns, they wouldn't be able to protect themselves from the criminals who would still have guns.

Like with the COVID situation, I don't think the country is fixable.

I sure as hell am glad that NZ did an amnesty recently but I'm not sure I'd feel the same way if I lived in St Louis or Detroit. I could be wrong.

hunter bidens laptop which every outlet suppressed the story on.

If every outlet suppressed it, how did you get the info?

Also why would every media outlet suppress a story about a pedophile?

His policies aren't so abhorrent. It's his personality. Policy-wise, he's a pretty atypical conservative politician. People don't see his policies. They see him being an asshole.

I know your question wasn't aimed at me, but I would have voted for him 2016 and I'm happy to explain why. But, first, do you mind if I ask which policies you think separate him from typical republican party candidates?

I'd respectfully disagree about his policies not being so abhorrent. Trump's foreign policy was atrocious with him pushing away long term allies in NATO (especially Germany) and instead, cozying up to dictators and perceived strongmen all over the world (Putin, Kim Jung Un and Ergodan). Trump tried to initiate a racist ban on all Muslims entering the US. Trump tried to create a border wall that was completely ineffective and almost every intel report said would be ineffective. Trump said he would "drain the swamp" - implying that he would remove corruption in the US administration, instead he appointed people like Betsy Davos as head of Education and she has done nothing but enrich herself and hurt children and education (she had the track record to prove that's how she would behave before she was appointed). Trump has rolled back major environmental protections (though I know the US has not been great about things like the Paris Climate Accords in general, Trump literally tried to remove protections on US national parks and was successful in allowing for the hunting of endangered species like the Grey Wolf). Trump has subverted the judicial system with the appointment of Bill Barr, who basically acts as his personal lackey (completely illegal as there is supposed to be a separation between the Executive and Judicial branches). Oh yeah, he also completely crapped all over the Emoluments clause and has not properly divested from his businesses. Speaking of working for himself and not the American people, he seems to have a policy of hiring family members to work for him in government that are wantonly unqualified.

Anyhow, I think I'll stop here, even though I know I could continue writing all day. I don't think these are all "atypical" Republican policies as you said. Anyhow, this disgusting husk of a man shall soon be out of office and there's no point in angering myself further by recalling the many terrible harms and betrayals of the US he has committed.

So, would you care to explain yourself? I would like to know why you think Trump's policies have any merit? He didn't keep many of his campaign promises from 2016 anyways, but lets see what you have to say about why you'd give him your vote.

Anyone else think Biden won’t see out his first term?
If he gets ill or dementia does Harris take over permanently till next election?

Sure. First of all, I'll take a moment to dissect some of what you wrote.

Obama essentially had a "Muslim ban" that was practically identical to Trump and nobody batted an eyelid. Obama also holds the record for most deportations. He deported 1% of the country. Again, nobody batted an eyelid.

As for the wall on the southern border, Obama and Bush erected walls on the border. Again, nobody batted an eyelid.

I don't think he cozied up to Kim. He called him rocket man FFS. His approach was different than his predecessors, but it resulted in him actually stepping foot in NK which is a good thing.

Most of what you wrote has nothing to do with the policies he campaigned on. Appointing particular people is not policy and he did it after he was elected so it is irrelevant to why I would have voted for him in the first place. In fact, I think the only thing you mentioned that was stated as policy during his campaign was the border wall and he was never given the funding to build it so there's really no evidence that it wouldn't have been at least somewhat effective.

I will explain why I would have voted for him in 2016 in a second. I'm playing Fortnite with my nephew.

Re Harris taking over:
Biden would have to willingly pass power to her or the 25th amendment has to be invoked by the VP and a majority of Congress or the Cabinet have to declare him incompetent.
It doesn’t just happen because a single individual wants it to unless that person is the president.
