If he doesn't do something significant, he's a hypocrite. He said during the second presidential debate that he's going to make masks mandatory, but that's not enough to flatten the curve. He vaguely campaigned on fixing the US COVID crisis, didn't he (?) by constantly criticizing the Trump administration for causing it.

I don't think it's possible to lockdown the US. If he does it, there will be blood.

The wait was all worth it to see Kamala talk right now. What an amazing moment to see not only the the first woman, but the first woman of color, speak as the vice-president elect.

Crazy it has taken you guys this long. We had a female PM in 1997... Having said all that, I can't say I like Harris very much. She called Biden a racist when she was competing for the presidential nomination, then (when he added her to his ticket) started kissing his ass and acting like he was the best thing since sliced bread. She was smug and refused to answer simple questions in the VP debate. She's fake and dishonest. She reminds me of Hilary.

Yeah, I should have prefaced my post with something along these lines...maybe not quite so critical, but I know what you mean. It's still an amazing moment in our country, and nothing can take that away tonight!

Not trying to do anything about it. Biden is probably better than Trump. I personally don't care very much because I'm not American so it doesn't really have much impact on me. If I was American I think I would have struggled to vote for either of them. I'm genuinely happy that you guys are happy. Not sure I'd be celebrating the election of a man that doesn't know where he went to university or who he's running against and constantly gets confused mid sentence. But if that floats your boat, that's great. I don't expect my opinion to take anything away from you. Just saying how I feel.
