Election 2020 The Final Countdown v. Nov. 3rd

It's almost surreal, election day has finally arrived!

i read just now that, in four states including texas, early voter turnout surpassed total turnout from 2016. so, regardless of which way the chips fall today, one silver lining will be increased turnout and engagement in the democratic process,

i offered bets to a couple or three people who said trump will win but none of them was confident enough in their own prediction to put their avatar where their mouths were :(

i'll happily offer up an avatar bet for at least another couple of hours...

What we talking about betting? 🤔

I am worried this election could be stolen. The establishment narrative is ‘all votes must be counted’. Seems like the attack wing of the establishment are messaging that Mail in ballot integrity measures are ‘racist’ etc.. The AG of PA just said some very partisan concerning things. If trump loses I don’t think we will ever see another candidate that isn’t pre selected by the banks/neo liberal establishment. God I wish the DNC had a fair primary, Bernie would have at least put those of us that don’t want war and Chinese corruptions minds’ at ease.

I wish for Bernie as well. It still pisses me off a lot how Bernie got fucked over twice. I also wish Trump was the anti-establishment candidate we wanted, but it could not possibly be more obvious to me that he is a narcissist who organized for himself the largest ego stroking of all time, and that he has no interest in anyone but himself. I have agreed with few of his policy decisions, on top of what is clear to my eyes from all of the time I've spent watching him speak in various capacities. I don't want an establishment candidate, either, but my perception of how the last 4 years has gone down is that Trump is doing more and more damage to our country. And not only him, but the Republicans in general are undermining us in a number of important ways. The Dems aren't much better but at least I land on their side with most of the social issues that they've chosen a side on. And his attempts to undermine the voting system are so flagrant and beyond belief, if he's willing to do what he's doing, there is no way I can possibly support him as president. The more time that goes on, the worse it gets.

I’m not a huge fan of trumps tweeting or some of his shittiest of character flaws, but the only real things I care about is going against the central bank and the military industrial complex. If the establishment wins you can guarantee we will be in a few major conflicts within a year. So much counts on them winning back control. Also you better believe they will take us off of the favoured nations drug roll. Americans have paid for the bulk of pharma R&D for ever. You know they are very upset Trump killed that revenue source. They will have to distribute the cost to other nations now. I’m guessing Harris will be able to simply undo that executive order, and then have the media/Silicon Valley do a wrap up or run cover for any blow back. It should be relatively easy for them since It hasn’t yet taken effect. If they don’t undo that EO before it takes effect they likely will take a major hit.

^ yeah, xorkoth, i tend to agree with all of that.

i voted for bernie in the ca primary. i wish the democrats would approach these elections by choosing a young, progressive candidate in a "let's win" frame of mind, rather than "let's not lose"...

aside, i had a very trippy dream 2 nights ago and bernie made an appearance :)

Looks like a Florida is trending for Trump right now, even though Biden is leading.

It's possible Texas may one day become a fairly reliable blue state.

I have this sneaking suspicion that if that ever happened, suddenly the left will be pro electoral college and the right anti electoral college.

Trump's starting off with a slight lead over Biden in Wisconsin.
