There's such a thing as an unconscionable contract. A contract that is skewed to one parties benefit beyond acceptability.

You may wanna reread the post I was replying too, this isn't about a company owning part of, or even all of an idea researched using their resources. The poster made it sound like this included ideas they came up with 5 years after the company ceased contributing in any way whatsoever.

To me that's unconscionable. Or should be at least.

Not really the point. If it's unconscionable they shouldn't be able to enforce it regardless.

I mean imagine if Google made you sign a contract saying they owned all information you created from now into perpetuity to get a job.

Sure, itd have to be a pretty damn sweet job to be willing to sign, but they shouldn't be doing that anyway.

I agree, and they can't do that in most European countries. It's one thing to say "don't sign a shit contract" but that's incredibly lame - there's a huge power imbalance going on there and sometimes the potential employee has little choice if they want an income and food on the table, especially if most companies in an industry add similar clauses to their contracts.

What do you want? The dump of emails? This is the same song and dance they did with Hillary's email leaks. They purged everything from the clearnet aside from the one or two sites that still allow it. Those sites get flooded with spam bots in an attempt to prevent discussion by legitimate users. You aren't going to see proof of this stuff unless you're willing to wade through the absolute depths of the internet. Most people won't and just say

When the story about Hunter Biden's laptop broke Twitter censored it and banned everyone. There are journalists from major papers and news networks complaining about it all over the world. The only people that are reporting on it are places like OANN. CNN purged it from coverage and FOX news will only mention it on shows like Tucker (I have a feeling Tucker is on the way out with the new management).

The Trump delusion symptoms are so bad now people are willing to over look pedophilia and ties to China by the Biden's just to vote Trump out. I don't understand how anyone can support the Democrats after watching them screw Bernie four years ago and putting so many corrupt people on the ticket. They do not care about you. The Republicans don't either. Stop supporting this two party farce that's just two sides of the same coin. They all work for and answer to the same few people that are running the world. It's obvious to anyone paying attention that they're just hoping to cause widespread violence in America. They need that so they can justify all these laws they're passing right now. They are being open about the fact that they want to start punishing people for pre-crime and what they do in private. Big tech is just a way for them to enforce mass security systems and censorship.

It doesn't matter who wins this election. If Trump wins you'll be unhappy. If Biden wins you'll be unhappy but it might take a few years for you to realize how much they fucked you over. No one was happy about the Iraq war and Patriot Act either but nothing has ever been done about it. Do you remember voting for Obama? Do you remember his promise of hope and change? Remember how he sat in the office for 8 years and didn't close Guantanamo bay? Remember when he used drones to kill all those innocent people and they just renewed the Patriot Act? Remember the Snowden leaks and how quickly those were buried?

What makes you think Biden is going to be any different when he sat in the office with Obama for 8 years? If he were going to do something about any of our problems he would have done something in the 47 years he's been in D.C. Instead he's known for passing a crime bill that sent lots of people to prison for simple drug possession. He profited off the private prison system. He's just another corrupt politician.
 
I for one don't give a shit if Biden does nothing. At least he won't be continuing to drive America off a cliff and the whole world with it like Trump.

I really can't describe how happy I'll be if trump loses. And how depressed I'll be if he wins. Next week will indeed be interesting.

It's completely correct - it's a system failure and the one and only thing that can stop/change the situation is a fucking paradigm shift / massive planet-wide consciousness raise

Thing is - that's also extremely difficult to accept due to the unlikeliness of the event, so..........................

edit - still want Trump out at all costs however cos he boils my piss

So far I'm filing this one under the "Trump fans will believe anything" category.

Honestly I'm ready to just zone out whenever Trump fans talk about satanic cannibal pedophiles.

I remember when Cryptome was publishing damning evidence about the drone assassination program. It was just about the most fucked-up shit I had ever read - literally crimes against humanity committed from Arlington. A number of the drone "pilots" ended up with PTSD as well, those were the more visible articles penned for prole consumption. All that Americans were told about all this is that (paraphrasing) "we acknowledge that some of the victims were collateral damage and we'll try and do better".

And Obama was relatively restrained as well, Hillary was ready to back war in Syria.

I have a low opinion of Obama because of the drone assassination program but considering other things it seems like he at least tried not to be evil. Obama's fault, IMHO, is that he was a born diplomat and had difficulty balancing foreign and domestic policy.

Trump was correct in predicting that Americans were hungry for better domestic policy but his chance to make a positive difference was severely hampered by CIA lawfare against him, challenging his legitimacy.

Add to that the newsmedia manipulating our perception of events and you have a shitshow. I forgot who it was that said democracy is rule by whomever owns the media but it seems pretty bang on. Now the common refrain is to ask for sources/citations, with the implication that the bought-and-paid-for outlets are the only reputable sources worth believing. Even NYT is struggling to hang on to journalistic integrity. In Canada, our new finance minister is a globalist who used to be editor in chief of the widely circulated Globe & Mail. If that doesn't illustrate how all newsmedia is propaganda for powermongers, I don't know what will.

Chomsky, himself not a Trump fan, was the one who pushed the concept of "manufactured consent", which really came into the public consciousness during the Bush administration when the narrative was to convince Americans that Iraq had WMDs.

Now the new narrative is that Trump is the devil leading America off a cliff and a clearly senile old man whose entire platform is cribbed from others is going to save us all from disaster.

HMMMMMMMMM...

yeah it is since foreign intelligence could've used that for blackmailing purposes.
if something like that happened in my country, the guy running would instantly leave the race.
there's much more things released from his laptop which are extremely fucked up than just his sextapes.
Go dig the data, CH. It proves things about Joe too, which he has claimed to be not true. He's corrupt as hell.

They're not telling you the part where this is supposedly a child porn tape.

I guess they decided it was better to omit it rather than let people deduce that perhaps that's the real reason sites like Twitter are censoring them.

Because what this really is is taking child porn and going "hey I think that's totally hunter Biden!" then crying censorship when people want them to go away.

Just my theory...

If it weren't child porn, I can't see it making good blackmail material.
