Just about every reported murder in my city is by a black. This isn't a stereotype. Its a fact. It would be a stereotype if I said that these two blacks were guilty, or that all blacks are automatically guilty because of these reports. If you will take notice, I have made no such claim. I've simply said that there are more details than you or anyone else presented here, and that people might need to slow their roll a little.
The kid fought with a cop, according to reports. You don't do that. Especially if you're black (I'm not saying this out of some racial bias, but because it is reality that cops are generally more on edge around blacks). I do find it sad for them, and their family, and black people in general, but I'm not going to ignore that he may have done something or not helped the situation, and I'm not going to ignore the little detail in the case in Troy Ohio where allegedly cops told him to put the weapon down and for some reason (why???) he didn't comply. I still don't understand why he was shot, unless he pointed the 'weapon' at police or something, which I can't see happening.
As for the civil rights comparisons, just to bring this up again, MULTIPLE stores were looted and burnt down/attempted to be burnt down. At least one of those had people inside while it started to burn. Yes, these fucks probably capitalized off of this situation and one shouldn't blame all blacks for what few do. But I doubt they caught all the people. I can totally get why cops are on edge. One of the demands that these people are making is for the release of the cops name. Tell me, not knowing exactly what happened and what went through the minds at that time, do you think this is a good idea? What exactly are you expecting? No police presence?
