I don't hate I just lack empathy as is.

It's hard to have empathy for people who threaten not just cops, but people. Fuck these guys, and to your assessment, alasdair, I spread my very hairy very white ass for your viewing.

I get along with most cops. I have cops in my family. I have been let off for speeding the past many times I've been pulled over by cops. I understand that people are douchebags and cops with authority can be major douchbags. So I act accordingly, and have learned to stay out of trouble.

I would never be in the situation Mike Brown was in. I would never rob a store for cigars. Never strong arm a guy for such stupid shit. I know my family members will never have this problem.

The drug war needs to end. That will help a lot of things. I think. It puts a wedge between citizens and police, for sure.

I do understand that the world is fucked up. But, are you really expecting me to be fucking Jesus to these guys in the video? Come on.
 
I am happy to say that noone in my family was ever a copper. Christ that would be fucking embarrassing though one could put it to good use i guess if your family member was willing to give you police info. Every cop i have ever met in a social situation and i will admit that's not many all seem alike. They seem like the type of people who where bullied in school or something and have since developed a inferiority complex so they hide behind their badge and gun to get back at the world. They haven't the balls to join a street gang so they joined a organization that defends the state and you can beat on people legally pretty much. They really are a breed of their own when it comes to how they view things. It must be nice to see things in terms of only right or wrong :\

They also seem to be the worst people when it comes to going against their own interests. They protect and serve a state that merely uses them for muscle to beat down their oown countrymen.

that's not what i asked and, when you have to embellish like this to make your point you're just demonstrating that even you know the weakness of your position...

i'm not a christian. i think some of the things done said and done in jesus' name are abhorrent and that he'll be more than a little disappointed in those people if he ever returns. but, whether he existed or not or whether you think he was just a regular guy or he was the son of god, he had a pretty simple philosophy: "love thy neighbor".

Fuck all besides an investigation? Besides seeing a video of the man who was gunned down acting like a thug with no regard for the law or other citizens grabbing a box of cigars, pushing and intimidating a storeclerk and then having a confrontation with police where evidence shows he disobeyed orders and reached for the officers gun.
 
I should say that when I mean family I mean my cousin's daughter married one. He is very tall. I doubt he was ever bullied to any great degree in school. He's well built. Probably played football. And my sister married a guy who's father was a cop. While he is a bit of a dbag in ways, always has something to say... And tends to talk over people, he was a jock in school. Probably never bullied. Very tall. Built. Also a very sweet person in respects. And his son is one of the most forgiving people I have known. Is a writer with two books published. Preaches non judgment in sisituations where others judge. Started a church where multiple people run it and speak. Encourages art through free community nights where everyone is invited to come in and make art and listen to music and speakers. Motivates people to donate things like coats and things to the needy by setting up drives. Took in a girl who needed a home. That cop raised a douchebag that's for sure!

I've been to the nights to make art... And hear music, and it's actually very subtle- about it being a church. It's more just community.

Anyways, I think you a very us vs them approach to cops.

I should have said most coppers seem the type that where either bullied or where bullies in school. Hence their chosen profession of being able to beat down people legally when you or i would catch a assault causing bodily harm charge and possibly do prison time. Most of the ones i have met save a few that never bothered busting people for harmless or fairly harmless crimes where total cunts that get off on a power trip. I don't know maybe i am abit of a product of my environment because the cops where always the last to know about anything here.It didn't matter if a person you hated beat the shit out of you ya just didn't call the pigs. Also you can drag up the occasional "good" cop but at the end of the day they still decided to be the first line of protection for the state and to protect the state and the rich against the lower classes. No one makes them take the job now do they?

And don't you take a very us vs them approach to anyone resembling a Socialist or leftist or Muslims?
 
I love the double standard. I know if it was an EDL or a Golden Dawn protest where people were picking fights with police most of the far-left people here would be defending the police suppressing the demonstration but it's since it's a group of largely minorities protesting they're all about freedom of speech, freedom to break "minor laws", and act like race relations in America are horrible because a thug who reached for an officer's gun was killed after he commited a strong-arm robbery.

Umm whos the greater threat some poor kid or fucking Fascist groups like the EDL and BNP or Golden dawn? Also it's often anti-Fascist groups along with average citizens who confront groups like the EDL and tell them to fuck off down the road. We already had to put the Fascists down once and if we learned anything from that part of history it's that it's best to stop them before they start gaining momentum. Granted they haven't got much popular support these days or anything. Fascists and reactionaries in general always attract pissed off morons as there is no ideology behind it and it caters to that crowd who don't think about why they are in there present shitty circumstances. If the cops want to beat on them too let them do abit of good for humanity once.
 
I think we could avoid a lot of this in the future if we required a full investigation and trial for any police shooting where the victim was not armed. Might also make police think twice before pulling that trigger.

I believe most of us would agree that police will do and say anything to protect their own, blue code of silence and all. This is why it's mind boggling to me that so many on bluelight believe things like "he was reaching for the officer's gun" etc. Come on now. It always needs to be assumed that police will lie to protect their blue brothers.

Well the EDL protest after the murder of Lee Rigby in Wollwich, if anything he was much more innocent than Michael Brown. Much more reason to be outraged. Do you have your head in the sand and refuse to watch video of him stealing cigars, threatening a shop owner, and look at evidence that shows he most likely went for the officers gun?

If anything you described the Ferguson crowd perfectly "pissed off morons" "caters to crowd that doesn't think about why they are in there present shitty cicumstances".
 
ERGUSON Mo. – Two men suspected of buying explosives they planned to detonate during protests in Ferguson, Missouri, once a grand jury decides the Michael Brown case, were arrested on Friday and charged with federal firearms offenses, a law enforcement official told Reuters.
Word of the arrests, reported by a number of media outlets Friday, came ahead of the grand jury’s widely anticipated decision on whether the white police officer who fatally shot Brown, an unarmed black teenager, should be indicted on criminal charges.
The Aug. 9 slaying of 18-year-old Brown under disputed circumstances became a flashpoint for U.S. racial tensions, triggering weeks of sometimes violent protests in the St. Louis suburb by demonstrators calling for officer Darren Wilson’s arrest.
He was instead placed on administrative leave, and Ferguson has been bracing for a new wave of protests, especially if the grand jury chooses not to indict Wilson. An announcement was believed to be imminent.
Against this backdrop of heightened tensions, according to a law enforcement source, two men described as reputed members of a militant group called the New Black Panther Party, were arrested in the St. Louis area in an FBI sting operation.
As initially reported by CBS News, the men were suspected of acquiring explosives for pipe bombs that they planned to set off during protests in Ferguson, according to the official, who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to publicly discuss the case.
The official said the two men are the same pair named in a newly unsealed federal indictment returned on Nov. 19 charging Brandon Orlando Baldwin and Olajuwon Davis with purchasing two pistols from a firearms dealer under false pretenses.
Both men were arraigned on Friday in federal court, the law enforcement source said.
The FBI and other federal agencies were reported to have stepped up their presence in the St. Louis area in recent days in anticipation of renewed protests after the grand jury’s decision in the Brown case is made known.
An FBI official in St. Louis declined to comment except to say that the two men named in the indictment had been arrested. Officials from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for eastern Missouri were not immediately available for comment.

Yeah the murder of a soldier by abunch of religious fanatics certainly means that we should treat every Muslim like a second class citizen 8) . That makes about as much sense as the Loyalist death squads in Ireland killing random Catholics just because the Provisional IRA or INLA killed a British soldier. Granted that did happen alot as the Loyalists couldn't take on the republican groups so they killed random Irish Catholics instead. Funny that some of the old people in the British Fascist movement are former members of groups like the National Front or Combat 18 who where complete Neo-Nazis who hated the Irish and anyone not a Protestant with a passion. Also the vast majority of British people want nothing to do with the likes of the EDL and don't support them.

The reason many people in Ferguson are so bad off is because of Socio-Economic inequality and the vast gap in the distribution of wealth in America. Trust me most working class people know why they are in a fucked situation and can do little about it. Pile that on top of their own getting gunned down by police and you have the perfect recipe for alot of anger. Anger can however be a good thing it just needs to be channeled in the right way. Personally i wouldn't loot the shops id Molotov them and try and turn Ferguson into a economic wasteland. They are owned by the Petite Bourgeois anyway who are the worst of the worst when it comes to being reactionaries. Getting them out of working class communities and empowering the working class of the area by showing them they are not helpless against the system would be a good approach. Also keeping the cops out by setting up barricades where you could create no go zones for the police would be a good approach though no doubt the cops would loose their shit on that one and maybe kill a few people.

Your lot are the type of people that fall for Fascist movements as you always look for a group of people to scapegoat that are even more powerless then you instead of putting the blame where it lays. Which of course is the state and the forces that protect it against the people.

Blame it on Socio-Economic inequality all you want but Ferguson is relatively well-off:

The median income for a household in the city was $37,134 and the median income for a family was $43,303. Males had a median income of $34,710 versus $32,649 for females. The per capita income for the city was $20,524. About 10.2% of families and 17.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 23.2% of those under age 18 and 13.6% of those age 65 or over.[26]

Sure there's inequality if you compare them to billionaires of America but you could do the same of every country. People protesting are largely outside agitators who by virtue of them protesting day and night over last few months far from their homes I could assume they don't work, so I'm not sure where your label of working class comes from. The gas station owner who Michael Brown robbed was however working class and so was the police officer who he tried to overpower and disobey his commands while he was doing his job was working class. Making Michael Brown representive of African-Americans or the "working class" is an insult to either group.

Americans you say have no ground to stand on in regards to immigration because Native Americans were here first, but Greeks were in Greece well before the recent waves of third-world immigrants there yet the same theory you have for Natives in America doesn't apply?

Oh I do. I see it all over the United States and I have anger for the coppers and your right, not a damn thing is being done about it. Fuck race. Cause to me, I really could give a fuck if your black, white, green, purple, yellow or polka dots, an innocent person being gunned down is all the same in my book.

Too bad thats not the case here though which is why those stupid people in that video just make this whole thing a fuckin joke and not to be taken seriously. Those guys in the video arent doing anything but acting. All talk and all show. A person who would really do what their mumbling doesnt have to make a lame video about it.
