GOd, I love Eric Stoltz - my guilty pleasure is "Some Kind Of Wonderful". Yeah, I know 
I also loved him in "The Butterfly Effect", and also as the professor in "The Rules of Attraction" (I agree with Alasdair, check this movie out).

The Prophecy is one of my favorite films and I felt that he played the angel "Simon" to a tee. I too was sorry to see him killed off early, but thought that he dd a great job in the time that he was allotted.
Speaking on "The Prophecy", I just got out of seeing "Constantine" and although it was a decent flick the fucking story stole SO MUCH from The Prophecy! I was a bit disapointed for that reason if no other.
