old people with underlying health issues are much more likely to die from covid than not-so-old people with no reported underlying health problems, but to act like they have no chance is stupid; and to put (for instance) all under 18s in the same group is stupid. an infant is much more likely to die from infection than an elementary schooler (no duh, this should be obvious to people even though common belief is stupidly that there is a line that goes down from old age to 0); and even athletes have had serious outcomes.
vaccines that have been administered billions of times (like fucking TWO THIRDS of the world's population has had at least one dose, if i'm reading this shit right) and have proven to be much safer than the virus vs the virus that has caused only like 600 million infections and has proven to be much more dangerous... not sure how this is apparently such a hard thing for people. it's a simple math question, and i fucking suck at math.
kinda embarrassing for anti-covid-vaxxers that they suck this fucking bad at math.
do i want a better vaccine? sure... but it's a whole fuckton better than nothing at all.
and why is everyone so scared of a mask?
if you're coughing, or have an active infection, prolly a good idea to wear a decent mask (correctly)... unless you're a selfish and cowardly dumb prick, i guess. [i say this to general humanity, like shaking my fist at the ethyr... nobody in particular is this directed toward]
if i can do hard labor full time for the last two or three years, even in the heat of summer, with an n95 style mask on my face... you've gotta have some pretty lazy lungs, or some lazy thinking, to be that much of a pussy about masks... mostly it's the adults whining about masks, anyway.
