Thanks for putting it in such a constructive way. Something I failed to do for a while. Hopefully the message gets across...

I invite other people who have similar concerns to post a message here also. Even though delusional people are "by definition" immune to any outside opinion/advice, I sincerely hope that many voices together can have some impact.

Rick was insulting not constructive. I don't necessarily agree with her deductions or taking certain words as stone as seems to happen, as far as what goes on, so its hard for me to communicate sometimes without being insensitive, but that's exactly what you are doing. You simply don't like her or what she posts because you can't understand it at all. Or even fathom to.

I'm not saying that winged fairy folk in a literal sense, conventionally, actually exist just that there might be something to these stories... Being shared by ALL parts of humanity after all, in various forms. Look a little deeper.

And use some tact when you speak. Honestly sometimes I think people just want to be heard, and to appear some way when they are totally not. *Heart*

Going back a little, from above, I'm not sure they don't exist, in some literal form, either (fairies with wings...). It's just a fine line to navigate, to communicate what I believe. I have came about it through symbolic reasoning, but I have seen the symbolic take form in reality. I've seen that it didn't "begin", or surely doesn't "end", with us, as we know us. At least as I do.

My view is that if something is even dreamed, it's somehow conducive to reality, and must be tackled, or perceived in such a manner, if one is to be successful in actually viewing, incorporating, and moving forward with it.

I did not mean to come across as insulting.. And I don't dislike Ninae at all.

And i understand her posts just fine.

It was just your outright calling them her delusions, I think. So many people live in a world of delusion, as is. I think we all might be, at least a little bit, deluded. Maybe. To judge another is opening the doors to be judged, yourself, for for your judgments to stand at all there must be some ground, from which they do.

I am saying, that the thoughts are had. Humans, including their thoughts, are not outside of reality. The fact that the belief is common throughout humanity, of spirits, elementals, angels, warrants further view. Although your concerns may in some light be warranted, I can't say... I do think that beliefs can be dangerous, in general. I think life can be dangerous. Life is dangerous.

It was also your assuming that it was some voice that told her to kill herself, or presuming... That you had insight on such a sensitive subject, regarding another-precisely, such as why she would want to kill herself, injecting, projecting your own image.

Yes, but "normal" human behavior manages to keep a good balance between outer/inner & real/imaginary reality. I invite you to find one single post of her in which she seriously takes into account the view/advice of other people (p.s. the only people she replies to are the people who already agree with her...); or even more difficult: try to find one post in which she is seriously contemplating to take a more critical attitude towards her own ideas...

Ideas in themselves are not dangerous, it's the behavioral pattern that people develop which is dangerous.

In my opinion: the incapacity to accept the advice of other people, the unwillingness to have a proper dialogue with other people, the hyper-associative way of thinking, the impossibility to critically evaluate your own ideas... together with a narcissistic personality disorder (in which one is overconfident that one has all kind of special abilities) is the recipe for evil of the worst kind.

Even though I am convinced her ideas are quite harmless now, I think there is good reason to worry...

I think she has previously stated that she deliberately overdosed and came in contact with God, Jesus, Angels. Is this not reason enough to worry? What if she thinks she can overdose and will continue to live in another dimension with angels and fairies? What kind of pain would that be for her parents and friends? So, my point is: even though ideas in themselves are harmless, they can easily become very dangerous things...

All sound. I can't really disagree with you, Psy. Still, I can't judge her, and don't believe this kind of "intervention" suggested of others is the right way. I can't say I'm in complete disharmony with her, or you... I do feel sometimes, that she doesn't communicate or give credit to other beliefs or valid questions. I have experienced it before. Its often very matter of fact. I don't really mean to take "sides", though. And I'm guilty of the same things, sometimes, very likely. And, I might just read her wrong, too, and others, sometimes.

I find her posts always interesting, and look forward to them, because she's on the same things as me, more or less. I just value ... Balance. I know that I don't know much, even if sometimes out of fear I might pretend to, even fooling myself in the process... Just to try to make sense.

I guess I reacted a bit sensitively. I've been on the receiving end, on forums, never in life, though, of people telling me to get some serious help. Like medication and counseling. I too had a thread about fairies, spirits, angels, voice hearing, Etc., back in the day, and it devolved into only a few people "teaming up" against me, begging me to get psychological help, Etc, when I understood how the subject could be taken, and tried to steer around it, for benefit, but this wasn't seen. There are just always people who are... insensitive to the subject, and unwilling to really engage, or feel threatened somehow/unsettled, when they hear about people talking about voices, spirits.

I find her posts interesting, but can definitely see what you're saying. I find them hard to add to. I added what I could, above, but have held my words otherwise, as far as her specific beliefs and mine, because I don't really know what I believe, or how to say it...

I held my words after Rick's post above, but then it was tied to yours, as well, and I'd really rather see this go another way, other than another "you're messed up get help" fiasco.

I was trying to base, as well, off of this thread alone... Not previous entries from her, as I am not around enough to capture much of it.

To attempt to bring it back to the floor, I hope to hear others' personal experiences on the subject. Or thoughts. And I am definitely intrigued by what you say, Ninae, not to say I am not, or in disagreement, with anything that I have mentioned here, how I have. I hope that you do continue to add your thoughts to the forum. What I have is mainly my personal experiences, and what little I have read on the net. You seem to have a lot of information on the subject, as what's been written about it. Though, I have to disagree, or offer challenge to the idea rather, that the Angels are as you say, feminine. Even that fairies are only as so. Though my experience seems to back this up, in senses... I don't really know. I think there's always a "wholeness" out there, to everything. Like God.

Another thread turned into a Ninae mental health discussion. Next time this happens I will be giving out infractions. This is P&S not the Recovery Forums.

Locking.
