It's really easy to come up with hypothetical long term risks but the science shows that to be incredibly unlikely.

So far all the science shows that covid has 10x much more instances of long term side effects.

Well I think a bullet to the stomach is FAR more fatal then covid…I may be wrong but seems like a silly comparison

Well, if it wasn't for the covid vaccines, there would be an even bigger shitload of people with heart and lung problems and compromised immune systems right NOW, never mind in 5 or 10 years time...
Unless if In 5-10 years a huge percentage of vaccinated people get some kind of undesirable affect…that would make the vaccine more risky then current data suggest and possibly worse then the virus itself…

Just a hypothetical situation out of curiosity…if in 5 years there is some unforeseen issue with the vax that has people dying and the pharma companies scramble again to make a cure for those issues, would you take the cure for the vaccine issues ?

a common theme in your posts, in so many words, is that you're smart and others are stupid - you're even saying that in this post....is that the way a Sr. Mod should be presenting themselves? superior in every way imaginable compared to the rest of us? even when you're drunk, you're better than us

i understand that you're frustrated with this whole thing and you get irritated with ppl posting in this thread....so then why bother with us? if it's better to be insane in a sane world than it is to be sane in an insane world, why bother with us?

are you asking about my faith in top tier medical science or my faith in for-profit pharma companies?? big difference

and only a fool would lump them into the same term

do I have faith that the best scientists in the world can come up with a legitimate and safe vaccine in 1 year? YES I DO. IT'S BEEN DONE!

Well the for profit pharma companies are the ones who made the vaccines, Pfizer moderna j&j…I’m not knocking you for putting your trust in them, I’d just rather not until there are long term studies showing it’s safe over a long period of time

literally almost everything humans do is for-profit

at this point I really don't care if you don't want to get vaxxed. Get sick. I really don't care anymore :shrug:

I love a good mystery/conspiracy, but damn, this anti-vaxx stuff is getting cringey at this point

Well you brought up the difference in top tier scientist and for profit pharma companies, I was just pointing out the for profit pharma companies made the vaccine…
 
And since these companies have a history of putting out less than safe products to put your trust in them seems counter intuitive to me, but hey, it’s 2021
