There is even more good news about COVID-19 vaccine efficacy. As LiveScience reports, the Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson clinical trials all found that their vaccines were essentially 100 percent effective in preventing severe disease six to seven weeks after trial participants had received a first/single dose. As biotech journalist Anna Nowogrodzki notes, "Zero vaccinated people in any of the trials were hospitalized or died of COVID-19 after the vaccines had fully taken effect." Now that's the kind of vaccine efficacy that we can all cheer.

Hell I knew they'd be ineffective when they rolled them out.
Same people who funded the virus don't actually want people to stop spreading it. Just to coerce them into accepting 'vaccines'. Which will lead to more demands that people will blindly follow out of fear.

if 60% of the population is vaxxed, then we should have less deaths


now notice one thing...they suddenly stopped saying "90+% were unvaccinated!" for a reason too

because it's more like 50/50 now

I'm interested in the truth, as everyone should be. Science is not truth. It may help us triangulate and get closer to truth, but one should always retain respectful doubt of all scientific theory. From the thermodynamic laws right up to the most modern theory in virology, all of it should constantly held in mind as possibly incorrect.

I don't blindly distrust science. I don't trust scientific institutions and particular prominent individuals, because power and politics has become too dominant and dogma too entrenched in order to protect salaries, funding, pensions, and reputations.

I personally think people trust science way to much, atleast more people blindly trust science then people who distrust it…cause one thing I know for an absolute fact is a lot of “science” is probability and guess work….

news articles and then your commentary aren't citations. peer reviewed research is published in journals not on fucking yahoo news.

what do we really know now? with data please.

can i point out that covid was not spread as significantly at the beginning of 2020 as it was at the beginning of 2021. and the vaccine rollout was only starting in earnest then.

did you even read that yahoo article, because it backs me up. again, the things you post imply the opposite of what you claim- 'combination of factors including comparatively low vaccination rates, relaxed Covid policies and personal precautions, and the highly contagious Delta variant, are driving this grim trend, according to experts.... We have the very unfortunate situation of not a high level of vaccine coverage and basically, in most places, a return to normal behaviors that put people at greater risk of coming in contact with the virus... ' the closing remark is the following quote from the AMA: 'immediate, widespread vaccination against COVID-19 is the surest way to protect the U.S. workforce and the public and to end this costly pandemic'

so, you clearly have enough confidence in that piece of reportage to post it here, its an appeal for mass vaccination, so why are you against that?

I'm sorry you have such a narrow world view and cannot comprehend why some one (especially a gay person) might express themselves through ways you don't agree with.

Not to mention, I assume you think all current 33 year old's are nazi's as well.

Use of fascist/WWII imagery has been a thing in underground industrial/noise (which I've been a fan/collector of and active in) music for decades.
Free speech is a thing, even speech you do not like and some times people use that speech in ways to express themselves.

One of the pioneers of goth rock & industrial (Rozz Williams) often used Swastikas, German WWII 2 flags in his art & live performances and was an androgynous, talented, bisexual & loving spirit.

Sort of like how Hitler also used the Swastika. Does that automatically mean Hitler is also Hindu?

In the end, you moved the topic to my character rather than conspiracy. Did I strike a nerve?

I don't think he's trolling, I think he's either reposting links others posted claiming to be backing up his claims, and/or is not actually reading the articles he thinks back up his claims.

Where did you see this? Curious because I can’t seem to find it. Article I found claims that young people in South Africa are now coming to the hospital and 65% are unvaccinated, with others being only partially vaxxed.

I understand it’s a pain to post links via your phone..it’s annoying to post with just my thumbs..

And I’ll admit that 55% vaxxed or whatever lower percent getting hospitalized doesn’t look good for the vaccine. But I have a PhD from an RNA lab and I don’t worry too much about potential long term effects from the vaccine. I’d be more worried to catch long term effects from covid.

The mRNA should get degraded as all your natural mRNA does. RNA is notoriously easy to degrade even on accident. In the cell it happens rapidly. They did modify the Uridines to stabilize it, but I’m thinking that better scientists than myself are confident that it will still be degraded.
Same for the spike protein the vaccine produces.

I get being skeptical and I get not agreeing with mandates or lockdowns. But I took the vaccine when it was still my choice as a free American

yea i read the whole article...and just because yahoo still says i should get vaccinated even tho the vaccines aren't working too well, doesn't mean im gonna go get some shots...

so if she feels like that backs up her argument, then go on with your bad self
