Ain’t that the truth, but as an adult (whether you like it or not) every one of your decisions has consequences (both good and bad). Not getting vaccinated isn’t bad or good thing, it’s just many places and people also make their own decisions to not let you go to, or participate in whatever they got going on if you’re not vaxxed. That’s just how it is now.

And I’m totally fine with that, however proof of natural immunity should count too in a not crazy world…but a mandate from the government is a different story from a private owner requiring vaccine, as well as the government requiring a private owner to require a vaccine …

What if the government makes it illegal for private companies have their own vaccine mandates?

I would be against that too, if a business owner dosent want to do business with unvaccinated people that is their desicion, not a smart business decision but it’s up to the owner

In Australia, natural immunity is currently legally equivalent to 6 months. So - if you have evidence you contracted COVID - you have 6 months to get vaccinated. This is better than nothing. I don't think it is a fair trade off. Once the science becomes clearer, they've said they will change it accordingly. I don't agree with everything they're doing but I don't think they're being terribly unreasonable.

Some companies require drug tests, too. It'd be much better IMO if they scrapped drug tests completely and mandated jabs across the board.

Texas has made it illegal for companies to mandate vaccines. Many of the biggest corporations in the country are located in Texas. So if Biden mandates a company that has more than 100 employees to get vaxxed, and it’s now illegal for these giant cooperations based out of Texas to mandate vaccines, what law do they follow? Quick civics lesson for you.

I thought Texas made it so the companies don’t have to follow the federal mandates ? But if a business wants to enforce a vaccine mandate that is up to them and still legal to do ?

None of this talk of mandates would even be necessary if enough people would just get vaccinated. If anyone had any real argument against these vaccines than I could understand the holdout, but there hasn’t been one. So now if this country wants to get back to normal anytime soon, than you will have to suck it up and get the shot, or you won’t be able to participate in polite society anymore.

I think the argument of it being the first ever public mRNA vaccine with no long term trials is more then enough, then add in the fact it’s not very effective and you now need 3 possibly 4 shots to not even have as good immunity as natural immunity is a totally reasonable reason to not want it :/

Then don’t get the mRNA one then. Get the J&J one. It isn’t mRNA at all, it’s just a regular old vaccine. I got that one and nothing bad happened to me. You are just being an unreasonable child at this point. Grow up, get the shot, or go live in the woods with all the other “pure bloods”. I’m tired of waiting for obstinate little children keeping me from getting back to my life because they want to throw a hissy fit.

What do you think will happen to you if you get the shot? Any of them? I can understand not wanting to get serious side effects. Is that why you don’t get vaccinated?

I don’t know there been no long term studies ? But I do know getting covid gave me a slightly above average cold, so why would I even risk getting the vaccine until there is long term data ?

Vaccine advisers to the US Food and Drug Administration voted 17-0 with one abstention Tuesday to recommend emergency use authorization of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine in children 5 to 11.
Members of the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee agreed that the benefits of vaccinating younger children appeared to outweigh the risks, but some members appeared troubled about voting to vaccinate a large population of younger children based on studies of a few thousand.
“It is reassuring to me that we are giving a lower dose,” said Dr. Paul Offit, a vaccine expert at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Pfizer has cut its vaccine to one-third of the adult dose for the children under 12.

“I am just worried that if we say yes, then the states are going to mandate administration of this vaccine for children to go to school and I do not agree with that,” said Dr. Cody Meissner, a professor of pediatrics at Tufts University School of Medicine. “I think that would be an error at this time.”

Nobody is being injected against their will. It is an interesting moment, legally speaking. We will see what happens. It is not unprecedented. Think about the draft. Many former governments of the world have been much worse.

Yes we are being injected against our will, because someone who doesn't want to be injected but cannot afford to quit their job doesn't realistically have any choice but to be injected.

If I was an anti-vaxxer and I'd spent a bunch of time proudly cementing that belief, then I too would be in quite the pickle. Fortunately for me, that is not an issue. I have enough issues. I can do without regional courts and all that jazz just to avoid a little jab.

There was always at least one kid that made a big fuss with vaccinations in school. They had a bit of a cry. In the end, everyone got jabbed.

I'm not an anti-vaxxer.

You are not free if you live in a society.

We are free from having medical experiments conducted on us without our express consent, which is what this is about.

We've been railroaded into all of this by bureaucrats ("doctors") with financial ties to the pharmaceutical industry, which likewise has financial ties to the newsmedia industry pushing the fear porn and vaccine absolutism. Getting the vaccine into everyone is about money and power, nothing more.
